So what exactly is the issue in AJK? Why are people protesting?

I've heard that the people came out to protest against price extortion and other such issues, but police arrested their leader, and now we have this mess.

It's a norm now, eversince the dharnas and 9th may. Every tom dick and harry starts closing down roads and asking for concessions and subsidies, and the fake ass azadi chooran introduced by our very favorite immi.

They were protesting against electricity bills and are like Mangla dam exist in our territory so we shouldn't be paying more for electricity because we are special. We hear the same sentiment from balochistan and other provinces. Next level bullshit

At least respect a human life man.

As I said in another post, electricity bill issue might be the tipping point, but the grievances are long and lengthy.

On what, food? That's stupid. On power i.e. that's produced on their land through hydro means, well that's what it is about. That being said there aren't subsidies for other regions who have coal mined, gas extracted etc aside low income groups.

It's not their land, it's the state's/ republic land. We are citizens of pakistan and have equal share of it's resources.

Bhai sab dabbay way hain. This doesn't give you the right to lynch police officers. Everyone is in the same boat. Before PTI, we didn't see aggressive riots and vandalism on state properties in these regions. PTI did introduce a lot of aggressiveness and hate politics, and the demands of the people of AJK are ridiculous.

Things will be okay in a year or two, with economic indicators stabilizing. The next step forawrd is to work together that includes all parties and establishment. I guess the only one not willing to work is PTI, the fckin krypotnite.

Either they entitled to lower cost of electricity or royalties

This is how the whole world works

For example in United States each citizen of Alaska gets fix amount of money given oil royalties

In Pakistan for example Punjab bans the transport of wheat and therefore the cost of wheat is much higher than other provinces
