US 2026 Midterm Elections Thread

This "culture war" playbook worked in 2022 and 2024 but won't work in 2026 or 2028. People have figured out "critical race theory" was no big deal after all and not a reason to vote GOP.
Agreed.

Now, try to convince those on the left who still cling to it.
 
Affordability, tax Elon, abolish ICE.
And invariably, if they win or both houses; accountability/check and balances. Speaker Johnson seems like a rubber stamp for Trump. The entire Republican party, especially with dissidents primary-ed out, if the party of Trump.

With Trump saying he doesn’t care about inflation, etc., a vote for a Republican is a vote for the status quo.

For those on the left that want to overturn some Supreme Court ruling, the first step is to take control of both houses congress in 2026 to slow down Trump, then hold it in 2028, while taking the presidency in 2028.
