'Careening towards defeat': Republican candidates rush to scrub Trump from their campaigns

At least seven conservative candidates seeking a congressional seat have altered their websites to either tone down or delete references to Trump and Make America Great Again rhetoric, according to a Washington Post investigation Saturday.

Democrats Just Hit a Midterm Polling Milestone in the Battle for the Senate With Midterms Less Than 60 Days Away

Decision Desk HQ gives the Democrats a 67% chance of taking back control of the House of Representatives, but the Senate has been consistently seen as safely in Republican hands until the latest projection.

Some Republicans have already been sounding the alarm.

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) admitted last week he feared Dems would take the Senate.

The conservative named nine states he believes the Dems can take — and take control of the Senate — during a podcast appearance with with ex-Trump press secretary Sean Spicer.

“[With] the Senate, I’m really worried,” Cruz said. “North Carolina, the numbers are rough, Georgia the numbers are rough, but we have very competitive races in Maine, Iowa, Ohio, Alaska, Nebraska, Kansas, Texas. I mean, all of those races are within a couple of points of each other. So it — I hope it’s not — but it could be a really rough election.”

Unless something major happens from now until election to sway, at the very least the Dems will control the house

There will be massive oversight and corruption subpoenas I'm sure

Idiot Kavanaugh tried but failed.

Why is it that judges picked by dem president never give dem president any trouble unlike judges picked by republican presidents! GOP will hold the senate and likely the house thanks to redistricting but if they don't it's still a win for Orangeman he will keep the senate and the power to appoint federal judges. More seats lost by dems for 2028 because of redistricting, 2026 could be the last time in a while they take the house and 2026 isn't looking good for them.
