Ok, so I spent a bit too much time thinking about this.

The POV states they headed to "Las Vegas" but only made it to Needles, CA so we can infer they only made it to as far as Needles (border of CA with NV and AZ).

HOWEVER, the POV states they have in fact been to Oklahoma (they were possibly born there?). In response to saying they have "been to" "Oklahoma, not Arizona", we can potentially infer they have not been to Arizona at all.

Thus, in order to have gone to both Needles and Oklahoma, the POV had to have taken a convoluted route to not have gone to Arizona. This means either going through Mexico or going through Colorado, Utah, passing Vegas, and then reaching Needles. In an era without GPS, this could have happened and the POV is unreliable.

Yooo seriously let me know when your in town i literally walk there once a week to my home which is 5 miles so yes you know if you go down that road to the swap shop you will see a lot of unrealized dreams depending which decade we are talking about blame the Broward mall expansion because of COVID but after 6 years they put a colorful tarp over it called it a day the fashion mall they spent 10s of millions to convert it into a hip living area shops and restaurants but the place is a bust
