I'm sure going after Trump will please a section of the base, but the Progressives and Socialists fighting a rearguard attack on establishment Democrats have their own agenda, which includes a slew of social programs they want to implement. They will need to be mollified if they want to go after Trump. But they shouldn't overplay their hand. Spending two years going after Trump; otherwise, 2028 can get difficult for them.

Let's hope so. There is a reason why there is now some pull back from the DSA agenda. Consider this; a woman who was 2nd fiddle to a loss of $9B in her state due to fraud claiming to be bipartisan but cannot name a singe issue she would work with the President on:

The only good sit down BBQ place here used to be tom Jenkins on federal closed down last year and whenever I find one of those guys driving a smoker that I find that’s good they’re usually gone after a week or so

I went there once years ago you didn’t even know it was there it was always kind of hidden unless you tried looking for it another one is robs bbq or something no flavor but Tom’s was old fashion bbq meat falling off the bones place if your not a black man or from Texas I really don’t want bbq from you it’s like going to a hibachi place and you get a Guatemalan cooking in front of you NOT THE SAME

I’ve really enjoyed observing the US elections. I’ll be honest this Abdul El-Syed guy sounds like a broken record.

Wasn’t he director of public health in a majority African American area where nothing improved and people were sold loosie cigarettes and questionable meat?

Politicians are all cut from the same cloth just dyed different shades.

El-Syed is a socialist democrat "Mandani Type" but with more traditional establishment roots. He is the far-left version of Shabana Mahmood or, more closely, the lefty version of either Priti Patel or Suella Braverman.

i think its time the American people get themselves another party or 2, and make it like a 3-4 party race.......this old 2 party system is tired and needs some freshening up.

The US needs to either get rid of or reform the entire Political Finance System; the current PAC (Political Action Committee) simply doesn't work, and the entire Political Landscape has become one major Lobbying Campaign. It's basically a choice between elitists (who contribute to GOP PACs) or globalists (who contribute to Dem PACs)

The problem is, PACs themselves do not allow corporations and union treasurers to donate to it, however, religious organisations are exempted, and also while they can't donate to the PAC of either party, they can sponsor one, which means they would just sponsor a PAC and then use those resources to help their respective party. That's how votes are bought, and this is how both sides operate.

In any other country this system would have been illegal..........
