US 2026 Midterm Elections Thread

Let's recap

Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Iowa, and possibly Kansas all flipped Blue. Remember mid-term is an indicator for the next Presidential Election; if they all flip in 2028, you are talking about a GOP wipeout (A 400 - 130 situation).

Only Florida remains as a GOP stronghold left, and that state has now become a battleground.

Biggest news is Texas. If GOP loses Texas it’s impossible for them to win the presidency

I think both Texas and Florida were big.

GOP lost Texas and is barely hanging on in Florida (Dude, a 14-point swing in general). And it will take a very capable and insightful leader to turn the tide back; I don't think Trump is either.......They may actually lost Floride in 28

I'm shocked that so many people voted for Mike Rogers who publicly explained his Israel first policy. It's crazy to me. In Turkey and even Western Europe, the electorate wouldn't tolerate such statements.
MAny believe in israel first.... its a religious thing and also israel is pivotal to their hegemonic plans

This moron is going to take his revenge on Iran. He genuinely believes the Iranians did this to him. His ego is unparalleled.

I know a lot of farmer actually would spit on her face...........lol

But yeah, the writing is on the wall, it's naive to think otherwise.
I can see that American people are angry, and these election results reflect that. But how will this anger and these votes which send a message transition into action?

I’d love to hear what Americans think about what changes we will see in the coming days, weeks, months?

As an EXTREMELY apolitical person
Economy was really bad, inflation was an "issue" too
This was the right reality check.
