US 2026 Midterm Elections Thread

If Trump starts doing that, impeachment will be coming on his way. Many Republican senators are not supportive of Trump either. Trump is done here. Republicans will be better of to get rid of him soon.
It depends, it's either do nothing the next 2 years and get vote out next cycle or would they just get rid of Trump now and hope to salvage their political career?

Knowing what the GOP politic, they probably will choose the former.....

By the way when the entire Democratic establishment was covering like a coward, Mamdani went ahead and took on entire Republican Party, maga , AIPAC, and the democratic establishment. And won.
Mamdani was the trailblazer!!!!

Dem might pick up Mississippi as well......

Now the different is 4500 vote with Hyde (R) lead Colom (D)

But there are 9000+ vote outstanding in a Dem win 80/20 in 2024.....

Wow! if a moderate Republican can't keep her seat, then everyone was vulnerable.
Well, it's more than that.....

Colom in Mississippi is currently winning by 28 votes with 97% of the vote counted, and that is a deep red, like DEEP RED territories, and if Hyde-Smith loses this, nobody is safe. You are talking about R+21 in Mississippi back in 2024........

This is wild

With respects not to me. I'm strictly focusing on Susan Collins who is yes a Republican, but a Republican that's very moderate and not a maga type.

Looks like Abdul El Sayed pulled through in Michigan Senate race under extreme adversarial condition.

Republicans were just nasty with Abdul, if they stick to Abduls policies they might not be that much hated, but the titles they give Abdul and Mamdani is just pathetic, and POTUS mocking someone's name, alienating millions of Muslims, and Mike Rogers just follow suits.

Watching from U.K. is it true Democratic Senate Leadership didn't support Angie Nixon??

The entire Democratic Party owes Zohran Mamdani a huge thank you.

Before he burst onto the scene, the party was directionless. We had lost our way, our mojo, and our confidence. We abandoned the working class, and voters abandoned us in return.

Zohran got Democrats back on track with energy, clarity, and a real connection to the people left behind. Without him, the Dems might not be where we are today.

Yeah I know what you are saying.

She should have lost in 2020 tho, but then Trump is on the ballot, and the voters decided to punish him instead. Now? If you are against Trump, what would you do when his name is not in Ballot? You vote down the Republican, that's how she survive the last one but not this one.
