Anti drone tech can easily available in the market. Russia, China, Ukraine has much more better and battle tested at very cheap price available in the market.

A question for knowledgeable memebers, aren't we making stuff like this locally too? I remember seeing a lot of development posts in this area in the past few months with the most recent one showing a 3D printing farm/lab at HIT. Are those products similar to the one's being provided by the US drone maker or are they a different category? If the products similar to what the US company will provide, then what's the point of this contract?
For someone like me who doesn't have knowledge about how these things work, it's very confusing.

From what I am gathering, the agreement with the US defense firm Powerus focuses on a different class of technology, specifically short range tactical drones, loitering munitions and counter-drone systems:

- Compact quadcopters, interceptors, and kamikaze loitering munitions
- Counter-UAV electronic/kinetic defense and small tactical battlefield units
- US-Pakistan joint technology transfer and domestic assembly

Pakistan's existing domestic drone industry builds and operates several fixed-wing reconnaissance and strike platforms.

Nothing this company makes is new to what I have seen at the recent RAS exhibition and what the Army already uses.

It is nothing but a PR exercise with a high profile owned company in the USA.
