Pakistan and US need to continue to build a positive and enduring relationship. We have many converging interests and many more to come in the future. Our paths are aligned.

Nothing desperate about it, quite a few Govs and Orgs highlight and PR Zoom meetings, the content is the most important bit. Right now Pakistan is progressing well in economic relations with the US and also on the counter terror front too.

The last thing Pakistan needs is the "patented" single-use seeds that companies like Bayer(formerly Mosanto) provide. Pakistan will need to be careful on this front.

It is strange that viewpoint of civilian and military leadership and officer cadres is limited to prolonging the status-quo of American and European subjugation and making assets here and abroad and foreign nationality for themselves and their children. I must admit they are doing a good job of saving Pakistan from American attack but behind the scenes they must be supporting BLA and TTP just like in Syria after Iraq. A friend of mine was offered money by a European ambassador to support the baloch 12-15 years back which he declined. The civil-military leadership must develop a Pakistan centric plan to get out of the clutches of the tools of imperialism, the world bank and IMF and shift from predatory capitalism to Islamic economic system which is like that of Norway and Sweden with many social services for the poor and is more business friendly. Add to this an economic union with neighbouring muslim countries who are members of ECO and you will be a member of a new Super Power.

We all know the state of the diplomatic relationship when the Islamabad embassy has been placed under the viceroy Sergio Gor sitting in New Delhi, who has not bothered to visit even once . No American Ambassador has been even nominated for Senate confirmation when even Dhaka and Colombo have received American Ambassadors after confirmation. The ultimate insult will be if Nepal gets an ambassador before Pakistan does ( if Trump appoints one at all).

nope, nice try, but right now all Pak leadership have a direct line to the Trump, Rubio and Hegseth. It is pretty obvious the relationship is in a great place, better then it has been for years, Trump, Rubio, Vance cannot stop praising Pakistan.
Tarrifs in a good place compared to the rest of the world too

Last time I checked Pakistan's tarriffs were lower then Indias, I would take that over an ambasador appointment anytime
