If he were selling his and the nation's dignity for a substantial quid pro quo, that would still be an understandable, though despicable, motivation, but I doubt whether Trump would bother to throw him even a copper for his antics.

The problem with people like you who are used to licking their spit is that they don't even realize they are being humiliated.

Here is the uncomfortable reality:
The US has appointed Ambassadors to even Bangladesh and Sri Lanka , but not bothered to even nominate one to Pakistan for Senate approval. To add to the humiliation, the consulate in Peshawar has been shut down

Sergio Gor, the Super Ambassador to South and Central Asia , has visited nearly all countries under his brief, including tiny Maldives , but not bothered to set foot in Pakistan. In fact, in probably the biggest ever diplomatic embarrassment for Pakistan, he declared that Kashmir is a part of India.

After the global embarrassment of the "Islamabad Talks" tamasha at the Serena, for which residents had to face weeks of inconvenience, the Americans refused to visit Pakistan again, and the "Islamabad MoU" was actually signed in the US and Iran. And we know what the status of that MoU and "global

Recently, the US gave an exemption on 100% pharma tariffs to several countries including India, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Thailand and Cambodia, but despite all the bootlicking, Pakistan could not secure an exemption. Earlier, despite the multiple Nobel Peace Prize nominations, Trump had stopped the issuance of immigrant visas to Pakistanis.

The list of humiliations is endless. Just because Trump says "good boy" like he would to a pet poodle when he needs Showbaaz and Munir to perform a trick, doesnt change the fact that substantively the relationship is the worst it has ever been; and it will get only worse when Dems get subpoena power after the mid-terms and start investigating Trump's corruption, including bribery by the "hybrid" regime. The sheikhs have also paid bribes, but they also provide billions for the Democrats' gravy train, so they will be fine. Pakistan just doesn't have that kind of money to throw around.
