They aint taking control of the House. Southern states are starting to have special sessions to redistrict their maps just like the dems have done for decades.

I'm currently looking at some of the US agriculture futures. Looks like we will be weaned off meat one way or another. Prices not looking good for the end consumer.

While I am not optimistic of Republicans holding the House, the Senate numbers are not there for a Democrat takeover.

So the best we can hope for after January is gridlock for the remainder of Trump's term.

We have purchased meat at Costco. Currently, on a per pound basis it is no less than the usual supermarkets. Just more of it.

No impact … if you a millionaire or billionaire friend of the Whitehouse unfortunately this horrible US administration has no concern for you ordinary citizens.

I don't think the Senate will be under Democrat control. Possibly but that assumes they either retain all 13 of their seats currently up for reelection plus win 4 of the 22 of the Republican seats.

Of 35 seats total up for reelection this year, Democrats need to win 17. I don't think that is in the cards. At least not at the moment.

Democrats cannot remove the President under the 25th Amendment. That's not how it works. Nor would they have the majority required in the Senate to convict and remove him should he be impeached. They would need to win an additional 16 Senate seats to get the majority required. That, or blackmail enough Republicans to go along. Neither is happening.

As much as I think it is necessary, I highly doubt the 25th amendment will be implemented.
