What we know the Bajwa was singing and dancing for the yanks, even before the regime change when he openly went against then civilian and elected government by declaring that he was against Russian invasion and sided with Ukraine while sharing podium with American official, openly rebelling against government stated policy of neutrality. Then he very famously went to US where he poo pooed Chinese and how Pakistanis are more aligned with yanks. And now came the news that he gave assurance to yanks about curbing Pakistan nuke and missile program, where he apparantly gave orders to SPD to give American team access to sensitive sites! Any word on this? More importantly, if say we replace Bajwa with IK above, what would the response?
Muneer, being a chota panda of Bajwa, he since carried on the policies both domestic and foreign. This phutri and hyper appeasement of Trump admin, be it crypto, minerals, oil/gas (without much coming out of it, also we dont know yet exactly what is Muneer's cut on the crypto front), the nomination for noble prize, the peace board...
We think that "realignment" as you mentioned, is some sort of grand strategy where all organs of state are singing from same hymn sheet. In reality it really is personal interest of the one occupying the office of the COAS. If yanks give them enough crumbs, they will ditch China in a heart beat. To not start a single CPEC project since the regime change and under Muneer regime, to say it all relates to economy, that pretty naive way to look at things.
