For the majority, staying in place is a wise decision. Where are they going to go? I've seen the I-75 and 95 when ya'll been trying to bug out ahead of a hurricane.

To be fair 13 14 trying to act gangster when their sacks have barely dropped is goofy as you think I am I’m from Akron Youngstown Cleveland Ohio doesn’t get much worse than that and if you know south Florida at all I used to hang out in Overrtown and sistrunk in my silly days those were war zones back than now they’re trying to gentrification those places

They're just bluffing and entire world knows it. And I'm very sure the American CIA knows more than anyone else.

Iran has had 47 years. Their scientific and engineering minds are on par with any other nation. Either those scientists and engineers have been very very very good at hiding it from the leadership for all those years or they simply haven't been able to do so given some of the limitations in other areas to be able to do so.
FFS, John Aristotle Phillips wrote a paper in 1976 which led to the FBI confiscating his work. Why? Because his design worked.

Adding on to the discussion around prepping for 72 hours; a hot meal is ALWAYS a welcome sight. That said, I have one of these in my backpack:

One more thing to think about: fire.
As someone who has been cold, wet, hungry, and downright miserable more times than I care to remember, these days the last thing I am going to do is rub 2 sticks together to make a fire. So you will find in my kits several ways to make fire and, I will carry most of that either in a pocket or on my belt. None of it is heavy. A couple BIC lighters, some strike anywhere matches kept in an old pill bottle, and a flint / magnesium bar combination.
For tinder, I have old pill bottles stuffed with dryer lint, or cotton balls, or cotton balls soaked in vaseline. I also carry in most of the kits a small bottle of hand sanitizer. It doesn't matter if it is the gel or liquid. It's the high concentration, usually 70% or 80% alcohol by volume. I guess you could always carry some Everclear or FireBall. Both can also be used for fire.
With what I just listed in this post alone, there is no good reason for anyone to be cold and hungry. And, I'll bet, outside of the Everclear and FireBall for some of you, you all have the rest in your house. Or most of it.
