US Perspective on the Iran - Israel / US War

I have zero tolerance for off topic posts and trolling
Can you stay on topic please...we haven't even gotten halfway through the first page and the expected personal attacks start flying from the peanut gallery.
What's the topic , American perspective ? America is a slave country of Israel/ Jews , it can't have an independent perspective of her own... that's the true hamartia of epic proportion..... history will take a big dump at America of present day , you miserably fail to grasp this fact and getting bogged down on how many killed and how much destroyed.....

It's a loss alright but because the crew is safe and....

Some of the AWACS were recently sent here but I think the E-2D is a much cheaper alternative/replacement.

I expect they’ll pull one from the recently retired E-3s if they truly want to, but the E-2Ds radar and networking is much more advanced than E-3s.

From a tactical an operational standpoint, the US military has been dominant. They were given a clear set of objectives and they’ve executed almost flawlessly given the scale of operations.

And don’t compare this to Russia. Russia is losing more men every 30 minutes than the US has lost in a month of combat. There’s zero comparison to Russias disaster.

I'll take it that it is still a little excursion...
Remember Iran's whole defense budget for the year is $10 billion and unlike Ukraine is not being propped up and supported by the collective to the tune of hundreds of billions of dollars in both financial and military equipment.

At stake here though is the bedrock of zion. It's financial system... one that standizes and securitizes hierarchy... winners and losers.

So expect them coming out of the woodworks and burning cash like no tomorrow. On the backs of American men and women.

Purpose of this thread is dedicated to discussion of the current conflict between Iran with Israel and the US from the American perspective. Do be aware that ALL members are welcome to post here as well in the primary thread in the Iranian section. I for one want to see good quality discussion back and forth regardless of the side you support.

Initially, this discussion has been taking place in the US Defence Related thread. Unfortunately, and admittedly an error on my part, discussion now is so much around the current conflict that the original purpose of US Defence Related has lost its focus. Now, everyone can have an outlet dedicated solely to the war as well as return to the primary focus of US Defence Related which is topics of interest that do not necessarily warrant a dedicated thread.

Be advised that all forum rules still apply in this thread. Since it is dedicated to Iran - Israel / US, ONLY posts specific to the thread are allowed. Off topic posts will be dealt with quickly. Repeated offenses will earn a thread ban. Consider this to be the only warning. I am not alone when I say that the other mods and admins are well tired of the petty bickering, spamming, unverified or otherwise off topic posts. If something is posted from Twitter / Reddit / Instagram / Telegram / whatever, it needs to be verified and factual. There is already enough unverified or AI slop being posted as it is.
Has anyone come across a serious proposal from any person (with some gravitas in the subject matter) to end the war in a short time frame, say within this year 2026? I have hot, and am curious to read any.

Hahaha, your statement matches your ID very well.

What you said are all facts.

On May 1, 2024, the U.S. House of Representatives passed the "Anti-Semitism Awareness Act" with a vote of 320 in favor and 91 against.

This vote proves that both the Democratic Party and the Republican Party are toys controlled by Jews.

When the United States passed the Anti-Semitic Awareness Act, Americans completely lost America.

And the real American, he set himself on fire with a fire, hoping that the Americans would realize the dangerous situation in the United States.

Thanks 🙏....I am a detached observer, I have no love for any of the warring sides.

Yeah but you already have a whole E-3 crew ready to go... but then again USN tends to lend aircraft with pilots and crew. USAF F-18Gs were flown by Navy pilots.

At the moment, nothing that I can see. The US buildup continues. The ripple effect here at home already being felt. USPS is imposing delivery surcharges for certain shipments. My own employer is also dealing with surcharges from the airlines as well as the trucking companies. All costs that will be passed on.

With the rise in price of diesel fuel, you can expect to see additional price increases shortly at the grocery stores.

As to the loss of the E-3 at Prince Sultan base

I've confirmed the tail number of the E-3. Photos of its destruction are legitimate.

As for the E-7, let's see when they are actually delivered. The AF tried to cancel the program. Congress is forcing it on them.

Iranian mountain ranges stretch from the beach to inland more than 300 miles, how will the troops march through those mountain to reach Iran's inland while facing choke points for ambush one after another? Let's say if the troops are able to cross those treacherous mountain and reach an Iranian city, how are they going to prepare for urban combat? The last big urban combat was in Mosul where it took a coalition of 100k Kurdish and Iraqi militia backed by massive American air strikes to dislodge just 2000 ISIS fighters. I assume any Iranian cities would have way more than 2000 fighters to engage the american in urban combat.

The goal of the land forces “seems” to be the Islands of Kharg or Chahbahar port not inland
