Another dozen A-10s headed to the region. Will support coastal operations IMO

There are few things which never get old ... dear ol George Carlin perfectly described America's obsession with war

Yeah, the Iranians badly miscalculated

That's why Iran created missile cities sherlock buried under granite.

Well thank you...you just admitted they can't have tanks, aircraft, and other heavy equipment outdoors.

Unless, Sherlock, you think a military these days only consists of missiles...not the men and machines like fighters, tanks, and helicopters.

So according to you much of their military equipment is useless because it is all hiding underground unable to be used.

I have no doubt that Iran will win any war with US despite the advantages US have.

Not sure what you mean by "win or lose".

Nobody is saying the US is going to walk in and install a puppet government and then post US army personnel on every corner of the country to keep an eye on everybody and then require everybody to bow in reverence.

That seems to be the classic definition of a "win" these days in PDF's minds...anything short of that is a "loss". Which is ridiculously unrealistic

Judging from the airframe damage, I don't see that AWACs returning to service.

I don't think it should. Lessons learned for the Air Force. Don't park your AWACS planes near the front line of a war zone.

Now park that wreck out in front of the Air Force Academy next to the B-52 as a reminder to everybody. Geez!

Saw those on track yesterday as part of USAF coronet east. More assets to CENTCOM AOR.

Interesting they will bypass spain and likely enter via Israel/ Jordan into Iraq.

I told them we’re not sending in 200K troops, installing nice guys, and nation building for a decade.

Trumps approach is more pragmatic. Find willing leaders ready to comply to American demands instead of ripping out the entire regime and hoping for the best.

oxymoron right there
hoping for the best.
You smell that? It smells like copium mixed with desperation.

Yes, but it’s too rare of an occurrence for it to have any effect on US/Israeli operations. In terms of aircraft losses:

- 3 F-15s lost to friendly fire
- 1 damaged F-35 that made it back to base
- 1 destroyed KC-135 in an accident over Iraq, another KC-135 damaged
- 5 damaged KC-135 at PSAB in an earlier attack, 4 of the 5 have since returned to flight per Pres Trump
- 1 destroyed E-3, 1 KC-135 destroyed with another possibly damaged at PSAB

Given the scale of operations, this is limited damage to US forces. The US had lost 3X this amount in Desert Storm by this point in combat operations.

We have to give the US military some credit for lessons learned against Saddam. Lots of planes lost back then and pilots captured.

Remember this stuff
