While this war is a terrible tragedy, there are other factors contributing to the tragedy: the long-standing hostility of Iran towards Israel seems very unique in history. Iran has beggared itself for over four decades supporting Hezbollah, Hamas, Houthis etc., to fight a country far from it. This has made Israel single minded in its desire to destroy Iran's regime. Today the Iranian regime again chose to become a martyr than give up its nuke ambitions. Most other regimes in this situation would have chosen to live to fight another day.
US and Islamic Iran also have a history. Before Orangeman the only president that actually got into a kinetic engagement with Iran was Regan and that only happened when Iran mine struck a US ship. Iran played a huge part in getting US troops in Iraq killed by funding and training Shia Iraqis and nobody did anything until Orangeman in his first term took out Iran's #2 (some say #1) Qasem Soleimani. Now Trump talked a lot of cht about Obama that he would likely get us in a war with Iran but that was him being political and in fact Orangeman had a hate for the Islamic regime going back to 90s maybe even 80s.

Sadly, I don't think that is likely. But I think price of gas will be a minor problem in the scheme of things. Like availability of TP during Covid!
Well, Diesel is up around $2 since the war (from 3.6 on average to 5.6 on average) and red Diesel (Farming Diesel) went from $1.89/g to 3.9/g; filling up a tractor now costs $20,000 more

When you are looking at this, you know Diesel is for trucks, which basically transport everything and Red Diesel is for farming, which will bump up our food prices.

That's like a double whammy here........

How the entire CPI is still just 3.3% in March is a strange thing here. That's some magical calculation....

Come on dude... you cannot be another random and just make stuff on myside bias.
History is just not a word you use for zion... it is a made up entity foisted upon the region... run by an ethnic polak born in the US.... and guess what Iran has History... something that was targeted... Iran had governments targeted for their economic policies and removed in coup... US is just perpetuating a blowback that is cascading! A folly doubled down as it moves along!

Iran has beggared itself for over four decades supporting Hezbollah, Hamas, Houthis etc.
Each one of those have in turn their own history and genesis. None were started by Iran for one... so stop with a conflation that occurred by happenstance over time and opportunity. Iran is by far the largest nation in the region by population. It is being sabotaged... nature isn't being allowed to take its course... gravity is being undone... if that means anything to you...

, to fight a country far from it. This has made Israel single minded in its desire to destroy Iran's regime.
Again with made up innuendo... Iran DID NOT ATTACK zion.... that made up entity run by a polak... wanted both domestically and internationally attacked Iran BOTH times. We're not going to rewrite history on these threads shall we?

Zion is single minded not JUST against Iran... an aggressive colonial outpost...
It has attacked not one but several countries in the region... ones as far away as Qatar to sabotage any attempt at peace. Even if the neighbors WANTED!!!

Today the Iranian regime again chose to become a martyr than give up its nuke ambitions. Most other regimes in this situation would have chosen to live to fight another day.

Again with the innuendo! Iran for all it's stupidity actually suffers because IT DID NOT BUILD NUKES!

Which I'm an advocate of... their populations would have been spared a fate met by others... such as Gaddafi of Libya and avoided by North Koreans.
They are being torn apart because they aim to do the legal thing under international law. Where they have to face special, intrusive, unilateral and onerous sanctions by the US outside international law. And by the way which they negotiated and got tossed by this orange clown deal maker... who not only said he'd achieve a better deal... but avoid war...

It has been an utter failure. He used those as a ruse after trashing JCPOA and actually STARTED the war both times because he's no deal maker but a blackmailed narcissistic puppet.

Have some respect for yourself and save us all from made up rationale that recycles in your mind.
