A U.S. Navy F/A-18 Super Hornet from USS George H.W. Bush (CVN 77) disabled both tankers after firing precision munitions into their smokestacks, preventing the non-compliant ships from entering Iran.U.S. forces also disabled Iranian-flagged M/T Hasna, May 6, as it attempted to sail to an Iranian port in the Gulf of Oman.
An F/A-18 Super Hornet from USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72) disabled the unladen oil tanker's rudder by firing several rounds from a 20mm cannon gun.
All three vessels are no longer transiting to Iran."U.S. forces in the Middle East remain committed to full enforcement of the blockade of vessels entering or leaving Iran," said Adm. Brad Cooper, CENTCOM commander. "Our highly trained men and women in uniform are doing incredible work."

Given I'm a skeptic of just about everything involving the CIA, there are a number of reports out there, all parroting the same talking points, of CIA report that contradicts the President's claims regarding the current state of Iran's economy and military capability. Key points mentioned:
If there is any truth whatsoever behind this report, the optics are not good for the President. It could also be another CIA psyop trying to make the Administration look bad given the current domestic politics and the US is entering the mid-term election season.

Going to post this more as an observation. Besides the far lighter than normal air traffic for the region, I don't recall seeing the name of the Gulf posted like this:

Even if you take the CIA assessment at face value it won't change the equilibrium , it may take slightly longer to reach the end game, however, the game has to end In USA's favour.... USA has no other option ....Iran doesn't have the capacity to withstand a more vicious and devastating operation that USA is more than capable of executing.

There are billions in losses to Israel and likewise to America. As for Iran, the losses are estimated at hundreds of billions.
These deals compensate for the war consumption of the Gulf countries, arms deals that some claimed were not needed, and are just a waste of money, and here they are in front of the whole world. They saved the country, protected lives, and preserved the capabilities of the Gulf countries.
What is certain is that the Gulf money used to buy weapons has proven its importance, value and returns.
