CENTCOM Ends Weekend Wave of Strikes Against Iran

TAMPA, Fla. — U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) successfully completed the ninth consecutive evening of strikes against Iran, July 19, at 10 p.m. ET.

CENTCOM assets targeted Iranian military command centers, air defense and coastal surveillance sites, maritime capabilities, missile and drone launch sites, and communications networks to further diminish Iran's ability to attack commercial vessels and civilian mariners transiting the Strait of Hormuz.

The U.S. military is holding Iran accountable at the Commander in Chief's direction. CENTCOM forces remain highly vigilant, focused, lethal, and ready.

This would be a slaughter for Iranian soldiers, they have no air cover and US will blast any ground incursion with impunity, drones and apache will have a field day, hopefully Iranians are not that dumb.

How many of those are left ? Tens of thousands have been consumed in this war alone, then we have usage in Gaza, Lebanon and most of all in Ukraine. The media has gone silent on precision munition and interceptor stocks.

I supported and cheered fir iran during the initial war.
I’m just not in favour of muslims dying on both sides while israel laughs at us.
I had wanted iran to hit isrsel the hardest which is very disappointing. Right now its muslims fighting each other (iran and gcc arabs), israel not being hit while it uses americans to hit iran as well as the gulfies. We will be collective losers on both ends and can’t save anyone.
Hopefully hoping against escalation of this war and chaos. The muslims need to unite and not fight each other no matter what our differences

To be fair as it has been said numerous times Trump has launched attacks from these Arab countries(also totally agree Muslim Arabs Iranians and any other faiths in this countries dying is sad)but the sad thing is this was a war Arab state leaders allowed their territories to used to attack Iran sorry at This point in time the ones who are suffering the most are Iranian civilians because of the result of Arab states action and inaction.
If what’s been reported Iran is taking out as many defenses to the road to Jerusalem as they say making Arab states and trump use up all those expensive interceptors that can’t be replaced by tomorrow and from what we have been seeing they are definitely being expended I really hope Bibi gets what’s coming to him but seriously night

This is probably why Iran is current undergoing a secret crash program for a modest nuclear arsenal, and will use that threshold status as a bargaining chip. If negotiations fail, and Iran pissed say half a dozen nukes and signals that it has them, it will change the balance.

Before the Iranians cross that threshold, the US can still negotiate a less conciliatory deal, and avoid getting bogged down. Unless Trump doesn’t mind keeping the nation at some level of perpetual war with Iran for the rest of his term. It could be the next congress that forces him out of the war in early 2027, if the democrats win.

As long as the IRGC is being degraded with each airstrike and its ability to project power continues to diminish day by day, I'd consider that a reasonable measure of success.

The IRGC no longer appears to be prioritising strikes against Israel after Israel's previous round of airstrikes inside Iran. My view is that Tehran understands any further escalation could prompt Israel to focus on high-value strategic targets, such as nuclear or chemical facilities.

Iranians living with 88% inflation seem far more concerned about American gas prices and U.S. missile stockpiles than their own country's steadily mounting military and civilian losses. Priorities, I suppose.

Iran simply needs to stop extending its terror tentacles across the Arab world. Otherwise, it should expect to keep paying the price, day after day.
