US Perspective on the Iran - Israel / US War

Nope you should have kept your hands to yourselves and did not intervene in Arab affairs..they wanted a diplomatic two state solution to the Palestinian conflict and you sabotaged their work because you wanted war..

Arabs have teached you honor by destroying your empire 3 times..don't get too arrogant..
How is that two state solution going? In the West Bank there is no war, and no Hamas, what's your excuse there?

The Saudi two state initiative was good, but now the Arabs are not united and even Saudi Arabia is preparing to abandon the Palestinians soon.

Urgent | US Secretary of State:

📌 Iranian officials contacted us in an attempt to negotiate the current escalation
📌 We are skeptical about the feasibility of the talks because the Iranian side did not adhere to its pledges
📌 Iran is in trouble, especially in light of inflation and the repercussions of escalation on the economic situation
📌 There are attacks on ships in the Strait of Hormuz and we are defending freedom of navigation
📌 We are working to restrict Iran’s ability to target ships and threaten navigation
📌 Iran must commit to opening the Strait of Hormuz and ensuring freedom of navigation
📌 We are open to negotiations with Iran and continue to defend ships and freedom of navigation
📌 We will not accept any country’s control over sea crossings and bodies of water in the world
📌 China did nothing to change the course of the war with #Iran and was cooperative at times
📌 Iran targets commercial movement in an important waterway, and there are countries affected by this

I thought before the Gaza war they were about to sell us out every single report said it Saudis were about the normalize ties with Israel for just a vague written statement for Palestinian freedom normalization with a butcher like Bibi I’m not against normalization I’m against normalization with Israel run by Bibi but I think we are drifting from the thread but you two are the moderators I just felt like throwing my 2 cents in

In the US-Iran standoff, it would be acceptable for Iran to strike the US or Israel, as well as American military bases across the Gulf.
Why, though, is it hitting civilian infrastructure, refineries and sea lanes of Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, Jordan and others? These nations never declared war on Iran or attacked it. For nearly half a month, Iran has not launched one projectile at Israel or the US.
To many people, Iran is only an anti-US and Israel in words, while acting as a butcher of fellow Muslims.
"For nearly half a month" wow, so long! Now remind how long since the Arab states have launched projectiles at Israel or the US? Or do you only measure the days since Iran last attacked Israel?

At the beginning of the war, everyone supported Iran, because Iran was the victim.

When the war resumed, everyone supported the United States, because Iran was pursuing regional hegemony, bullying smaller countries, and holding the world hostage through the strait.

To compare Iran's record of foreign intervention to the US is simply hilarious. Every powerful country intervenes in a bunch of other countries. Look at the UAE intervening in Sudan and Syria, and Saudi invading Yemen and blockading Qatar. The US has bombed / invaded every country on your list, while Iran arms the people of those countries to resist Israeli / US attacks. Not quite the same.

Iran belongs to this region, the US is travelling 10,000km away to invade these countries and has no business in this region.

Iran and the Arabs should resolve their conflicts themselves without involvement from imperialist foreign powers.

This is one heck of an argument to justify Iranians illegal interventions. This is what I was looking for, how far/low you'd stoop to justify something that Iran does but in the same breath would condemn USA/Israel for doing the same thing. I rest my case. You are the same person who agree with your compatriots viewpoint that Iran has a right to control Oman territorial waters and Oman has no say in it. The same logic US/Zionists apply to wage war on Iran.

"holding the world hostage through the strait".

You are parroting Hegseth. Where is the world by the way for Gaza or Iran?

Iran has been very clear, security for all or for none. Us can't choke Iran through its regional puppies. For many years Iran told regional countries lets establish security in the Persian Gulf without external forces (US), just like security architecture in Caspian sea without US.

Now it's too late, Iran should establish new security architecture in Persian Gulf.

Marco Rubio:
The Houthis threatened global shipping in the past. This is not a new threat.. Iran is in the middle of it. Iran is the troublemaker.

seems like there is no turning back the blue wave in mid-terms, probably for the good. Lets hope that some Democrats actually stand up to the AIPAC and end the war, working class Americans are struggling, all that money better go towards them instead of wars.
