I think we are closer to seeing bombers participate in theater. B1s have been repositioned to the UK since their PM reauthorized use of strategic bases:Broadcasting Authority:
The United States has informed Israel of its intention to escalate and use bombers in the coming days in the attack. Ali Iran

That only means that the US troops in these bases are assigned to transfer of technology..support and overhaul of weapons purchased from the US..They are not combat units!

This puts into perspective the tracks of all the v22, and MC130s, H64s and H60s seen in the UK and Germany. All assigned to the 352nd no less.Post in thread 'US Perspective on the Iran - Israel / US War' https://defencepk.com/forums/threads/us-perspective-on-the-iran-israel-us-war.31323/post-1350522

In my opinion, there isn't a double standard here.Iranian deterrence failed, we already know that.
But did the US manage to deter strikes on its bases across the region? Did Israel manage to deter strikes on its capital from Yemen, Lebanon, Iraq, or Iran? No, so why the double standard for Iran?
You are wondering why Iran targets US bases close to Iran, and not US bases halfway across the world? I think you can figure it out.In my opinion, there isn't a double standard here.
It is often said that the United States has more than 700 military bases around the world. Yet, how many of those has Iran directly attacked since 2025?
The military facilities that have reportedly come under attack are, for the most part, located close to Iran and are primarily in the smaller Gulf Arab states.
NATO leaders also met in Türkiye recently, where the NATO Secretary General publicly stated that the United States had flown over 5,000 sorties from bases in Europe during operations involving Iran earlier this year.
If European governments have publicly acknowledged supporting those operations, then I find it striking that Iran's rhetoric and threats appear to focus far more on smaller Gulf Arab states—such as Kuwait, Bahrain, and Qatar—even though those countries have repeatedly stated that they do not wish to become parties to the conflict.
From my perspective, that raises an obvious question: why does Iran appear to direct so much of its pressure and rhetoric toward the Arab Gulf states rather than toward the European countries whose governments have publicly acknowledged supporting US operations?
In my view, that inconsistency is difficult to explain, and it is one reason why I believe Iran has struggled to build broader regional support.
Have people forgotten the extensive barrel bombing campaign against civilian areas in Syria carried out by Butcher Al-Assad's regime, which Iran strongly supported politically, militarily, and financially?I don’t care about Sunni vs Shia. Iran was indeed previously one of these U.S. proxies until 1979. It no longer is. But many of our neighbours still are and they enable the US to strike our civilians and infrastructure from their territory, and no one can accept that.
The Taliban also beat members of the Pakistani cricket team for allegedly violating Afghan cultural norms.During the 1998 massacre of Iranian consulate staff in Mazar-i-Sharif, Afghanistan, Pakistan was widely criticized internationally for backing the Taliban regime and acting as its primary diplomatic conduit.
Iranian attacks against US bases are not targeting Pakistanis or any other nationality.
You're talking to yourself, I never wrote any of this. The Taliban also beat members of the Pakistani cricket team for allegedly violating Afghan cultural norms.
They destroyed the Bamiyan Buddhas, prompting international condemnation.
They also refused repeated international demands including Pakistan's after the 11 September attacks to hand over Al-Qaeda's leadership.
If your argument is that Pakistan is somehow Iran's enemy simply because Pakistan refuses to become an instrument of Iranian regional policy, then just say so directly instead of implying it.
What I find interesting is that, despite all the rhetoric, Iran's current leadership has reportedly looked to Pakistan as a potential mediator. That, in my view, suggests Pakistan occupies a different position than the one you're brainwashed with.
You tried to imply Pakistan was responsible for Taliban's actions. You're talking to yourself, I never wrote any of this.
Bro this is not the thread for this discussion. You tried to imply Pakistan was responsible for Taliban's actions.![]()
Unfortunately for the Iranians, they didn't get a chance.... trump and his cult follows cheer about destroying the iranian navy and airforce, when neither of those posed any threat to any of its neighbours ...

Ah, everybody is a "slave" who isn't serving as a willing cannon fodder for Iran.Who gives a shit what the European Council says? Do you? These guys are slaves to the US. Why should people from West / Central / South Asia rely on White Europeans to tell us who is "terrorist" and who is not?
