US Perspective on the Iran - Israel / US War

Quite a few American Zionists and Israeli puppets on the media are arguing about how ‘America is rich and can easily fund the war and Israel and absorb the casualties’ … but apparently not rich enough to fund school lunches, healthcare and education at home.

We have Americans here who don't mind spending an extra 500 billion a year on defense and new weapons, but balk at spending anything for school lunches, healthcare and education as you say. There is a mindset issues that, I and many others do not understand of the Americans.

There is no "genocide of Arab Muslims." Claiming that Israel is committing genocide is a widespread libel. It is both cowardly not to point out the truth and cling to the lie instead but also meant to smother the fact that genocide is what Hamas was attempting on October 7th, 2023, and proclaims as its goal even now.

My point? If you care about justice then you stand with the Jews, with the Zionists. Anything else is endorsing madness.
Israeli is committing a genocide and Netanyahu is a war criminal.

Multiple international organizations have upheld the genocide claim.

Israeli propaganda and genocide denial should not be allowed on this platform.

We are not the ones justifying invading half the planet by saying we are the leader of the 'free world' and democracies, lol.

No, you are making many grandiose claims though, and God forbid anyone in Iran speak out...

And, what was Iran doing in the region since 2003 with it's "Axis of Resistance"? Distributing sweets and flowers.
The Americans, Israelis, Saudis, Emiratis, Qataris, Turks, Indians and Pakistanis have ALL supported proxies - so can we all move on from this particular line of argument?

Iran’s support for proxies does not justify the US’s unprovoked war on Iran - the West itself set the precedent (and gold standard) for supporting proxies and destabilizing snd manipulating regimes and entire nation-states. Iran, Pakistan etc don’t even hold a candle to everything just the US has done around the globe.

Fair, I can understand why you would say that being American you naturally have allegiance to your country and its objectives and national interest,
I would be extremely surprised if supporters of this war could actually provide a coherent list of tangible American ‘objectives and national interests’ served by this war.

I dunno maybe I'm not seeing something.

But how exactly does Hamas, Hezbollah and the Houthis threaten the United States of America?

Also, when exactly did the attacks on commercial shipping start?

Just out of the blue or what?
Shhh … don’t ask such difficult questions.

Estimated 2 trillion just vanished per DoD audits - swallowed up by a bloated institution that is now increasingly becoming a tool to destabilize and sow violence and terror across the world, but hey, HOW DARE that black lady with her 5 kids use a few dozen dollars worth of food stamps to buy something I disagree with.

How dare we try and help ordinary Americans with food, health, education and housing - aid to Israel and wars and regime change operations in other countries for some vaguely defined ‘national interest’ are FAR more important.

And most of them are getting through.

Only ones that got through are in Jordan. Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, UAE bases are mostly abandoned. Iranian attacks have had no real effect on US operational tempo.

The US and allies have intercepted the vast majority of Iranian drones and missiles. Iran has fired 3,500-4,000 missiles and drones since February. Maybe 100-150 have gotten through defenses.

Iranian attacks are pushing US assets further and further away from Iran, and now last refuge locations are Jordan, Israel and Crete it seems. Therefore it is having a material impact on tempo given the longer logistical lines, turn around times for sorties and travel times involved.

At the current rates, Jordan could well soon no longer be considered safe for US operations.

Far far far more than 100-150 have gotten through. This statement is simply not worth spending any time on debating if that is your opening position.
