US Perspective on the Iran - Israel / US War

Yazid’s supporters probably said something similar.
What is the correlation and relationship between a fight for power among relatives (Banu Hashim and Banu Umayyah were/are close relatives - part of the same larger ancient Quraysh tribe, the main actors during that civil war shared the same great-great-great-great-grandfather (Abd Manaf ibn Qusai - born around 430 AD) even.

The current Iranian regime has been a source of division, evil, terrorism, disruption, opportunistic meddling, since 1979 by large. Not much to envy the Zionists in this regard when it comes to disrupting and fueling the flames in the region for hegemonic purposes and false bravado.

The sooner they are either destroyed or removed from power or reformed - the better for everyone in the region, Iran itself included first and foremost.

Can you give a single example of Iran being a source of good in the region since 1979? It is telling that they have hardly ever had any cordial relations with any of their neighbors and that their most trusted partners/closest friends are backward and sectarian terrorist militias whose accomplishments (positives) are almost non-existent as well.

Imagine ruling a country of around 90 million people with great oil and gas wealth and having a 2 times smaller economy than small 10 million big UAE. No sovereign wealth fund of any worth, no foreign investments of any worth, a currency worth nothing, an impoverished population, lack of development, low living standards, disliked by most of the region - hence zero support from the Muslim world and region etc.

Your biggest trump card is that you have the ability to destroy/harm the oil and gas facilities of the region which any terrorist group armed with drones and missiles could do likewise.

As I wrote earlier, RSAF alone, could destroy the entire oil and gas infrastructure in the region within 1 hour with 1 squadron.

And please don't give me the fairytale of Iran somehow being against Israel - until Israel itself started carpet bombing Iran and Iranian embassy in Syria and killing 100's of Iranians for decades (scientists, politicians etc. within Iran itself - later entire leadership), Iran did not kill more than 5 Israelis since 1979 (lol) or even launched a single drone or missile at Israel. So they never fought for any Gaza/Palestine either.

All they were interested in was the creation of loyal backward terrorist proxies loyal to Tehran in order to increase their influence in the region (using the Wilayat al-Faqih doctrine) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guardianship_of_the_Islamic_Jurist as they otherwise would have zero influence in the region.

Some sources (many in fact) also claim that they were behind the stupid (strategically speaking) Hamas attack in October 2024, which resulted in a Gaza razed to the ground with half under Israeli occupation now and much misery and casualties for the Gazans. Same way they have been trying to get Hezbollah, Houthis and Iraqi Shia militias to act as their spears against the interests of said groups themselves.

Tiny Bahrain, if we believe Iranian regime propaganda, has been targeted 1000's of times since February and hardly anything of note has been destroyed. Even the mostly empty US base still is intact. Let alone the rest of the country.

Fairytale dreams of destroying KSA (the size of Iran, Iraq and UAE COMBINED) is just that, fairytales.

Anyway the Iranian regime is already doomed one way or another and the old one is mostly dead.

They are never going to control any Strait of Hormuz either. So either they reform/wise up or they will continue to get carpet bombed and killed.

I’m surprised at the lack of ballistic missile fire from Iran in recent days. Suppression efforts are working or Iran is running into stockpile/launcher issues.
Well doesn’t most reports say it’s actually the opposite the Irans military and missile production rate is far faster than American intelligence agencies thought was possible and Iran isn’t doing the 100 to 300 salute anymore not possible with their skies being controlled it’s a hit a run strategy but how they can still fire dozens of missiles and drones on a daily basis is amazing

President Xi, at our recent meeting in Beijing, China, told me that he would not, under any circumstances, give or sell Weapons to the Islamic Republic of Iran — And that statement included Chinese Companies. Considering our relationship, I take him at his word and, besides, l am doing him very big favors, also. Likewise, President Putin, despite the horrible War going on in Ukraine (The relationship remains, as it does with President Zelenskyy), told me that he would not sell Weapons to Iran. He understands that I do not sell Weapons to Ukraine, but to NATO Countries. They pay full price, and how those Weapons are distributed, I have no idea. Therefore, two major Countries that people speak of often in terms of Iran are, in my opinion, not participating. If they did, it would be very bad for them — Certainly not in their best interests. Thank you for your attention to this matter! President DONALD J. TRUMP

He wants another ceasefire and deal so badly but the Iranians are not giving it to him.

Iranian attacks are pushing US assets further and further away from Iran
As I have mentioned in this thread multiple times, the US has strategic bases and agreements with multiple nations outside of CENTCOM for use of their military bases for both logistical and operational use, these are provided to the US under historic post WWII and cold war agreements, part of their mandate is to support US forward deployment and missions enablement for the EUCOM AOR:

---
What you see when you notice US aircraft operating out of Romania or Italy or Greece, Or Germany or France or the UK is simply that, US Aircraft are using strategic bases as and when required.

As per latest inventory count based on public information there are 217 tankers of note:- 97 in CENTCOM AOR- 77 positioned in EUCOM AOR- 41 RTB to CONUS (since 6th July)- 2 likely stationed in and around CENTCOM AOR.

There has been an 80% increase of US aerial assets into EUCOM and CENTCOM AOR since hostilities restarted...

This just today - more USAF assets being forward deployed into EUCOM and CENTCOM AOR

The Pentagon's appointment of Lt. Gen. Kevin Admiral to replace Gen. Christopher Donahue as the top Army officer for Europe and Africa is worth nothing, he was widely celebrated in the US as being the last solider out of Afghanistan and currently has command of the US Army 3rd Armored Corps and Fort Hood, Texas.

Positioned of advanced weapons systems and recon aircraft and use of experimental long range surveillance ballons indicates that the US has set its heels firmly in place and expects to drag this out as long as it can (unless political pressure becomes so great back home that it is forced to stop short).
---
But now a new aspect of this conflict opens up - one that threatens to make this into a long and protracted affair with NATO nations are being threatened by Iran and some are making some serious allegations.

Important to note here, that the UK hosts the largest presence of US Special Forces and is host to the USAF bomber wing, it has had this agreement with the US since the cold war and even been host to US Nuclear Weapons systems from time to time:

An attack on UK soil even if it was a low impact tango style lone wolf strike would be the catalyst for a much wider NATO involvement into this entire conflict. The UK has already published a dossier on what it called alleges as "IRGC backed activity inside the UK to destabilize community relations".

Both the EU and the UK followed the US, Canadians and Australians and added the IRGC to list of proscribed terrorist entities.

The UK went one step further and declared the IRGC a "National Security Threat"

As the conflict drags on it threatens to mutate beyond simply an issue of "No Nuclear Weapons in Iran" or "Regime Change", without a clearly defined objective and regional frozen conflicts reigniting, we will see the start of a regional conflagration that will cripple the global economy, increasingly brazen language from Iran against western nations not presently party to the conflict will embolden hardline attitudes towards Iran - not soften them.
---
Despite some of the commentary on this forum, the US is NOT stupid, they have been studying Ukraine and they have studied this conflict, some could argue this conflict has been a test bed for testing of some of the more innovative "combat solutions" coming out of the US and its allied defence sector.

The quote being banded about these days in American defence forums and websites is this little nugget

"Peace through strength doesn't necessarily start with our troops, it starts at the factory floor" - Lieutenant Commander Michael Sarraille, USN, Retired

I found the clip where he first mentioned that - please look at the date, time stamp and relevance to this ongoing conflict.

What is Iran currently claiming as its weekly or monthly ballistic missile production rate?

After all the years of boasting about being a regional superpower, Iran has so far been a disappointment. It cannot even deter one of the smallest countries in the region, Kuwait, with its tiny territory of around 17,818 square kilometres.

The irony is that the same Iranian fanatics who constantly claim to possess overwhelming military power are now looking towards Houthi terrorists, Iraqi militias, and other proxies for help — as if their so-called "resistance network" is supposed to rescue Iran from the United States.
