US Perspective on the Iran - Israel / US War

the US loss in Iran is a lesson on the limits of US power, it is hard lesson. For American to digest .

The US has lost nothing. The vast majority of Irans military and nuclear industrial bases are destroyed, ballistic missile capability heavily degraded, and entire navy sunk.

7-8M barrels of oil per day are making it through the Omani corridor, with Brent crude at $78, and Iran fully blockaded. Irans economy is beyond cooked on top of it.

Drones and missiles will determine future war between china and US? China probably can overwhelm any country with their drones , missiles coming close to its region or Taiwan. It is beyond me why Taiwan is a problem of USA. Unfortunately American history is littered with bad strategic decisions why the USA went to Vietnam to start a war.
It shouldn't be a problem for the US, but there's nothing wrong with the US selling weapons to Taiwan to be used in case of an aggressor...

Doesn't matter much in the long run though, because if China were to militarily invade, there wouldn't be much of a Taiwan left.

China would eventually win in any conflict if the US doesn't involve itself, but it will suffer heavy losses and so will the Taiwanese.

All rech related industry will be almost immediately self-destructed

China would stand virtually. No chance of stealing any of taiwan's incredibly powerful tech industries

One thing to come out of this disastrous conflict with Iran. How do you fight China if you can’t fight Iran. That would be a stupid war for anyone to start. A war against China would be a suicide mission for the US.
Never underestimate the US industrial might.. just remember that in WWII the US has armed and transferred weapon's technology to all of Europe.. including the Soviet Union..The US is a giant in every field.. it is just playing cat and mouse with Iran..

A Chinese conflict will primarily be a defensive counter air/naval campaign. A very different set of goals relative to the Iranian conflict. Sinking the Chinese Navy goes a long way towards winning that war.

A lot of made up tactical victories, little strategic depth. Dead American soldiers, a closed international waterway, depleted munition stocks, , a more hardline Tehran Government, numerous US aircraft and defence systems destroyed. There is no way this is anything less than a strategic defeat.

Decades of war experience hasn’t taught the U.S A thing about facing -off with a peer military capable of hitting back harder. They have allowed decades of bullying poor, defenceless countries to feed a fantasy scenario in the their heads where they are an omnipotent power.

Tehran may be anything at this point but not hard anymore.
US/Isr well calculated moves have created enough space for publicly elected Politicians to gain the actual control of Tehran from Clerics but yes still a long way to go.

It’s funny isn’t it.

Two super powers Russia and US are both struggling in there wars .
To be fair if the Russians didn’t have a large nuclear arsenal I wouldn’t call them a superpower anymore but I agree with you even if we account for all the help Ukrainians have received from outside pretty sad show

US has used up nearly all of its long-range precision missiles, media reports say

The Reuters news agency and CBS News are reporting that the US has used nearly all of its global stockpile of long-range precision missiles during the war on Iran.

Citing three sources familiar with the matter, Reuters said the US has used “virtually all” of its Army Tactical Missile Systems, known as ATACMS, and Precision Strike Missiles.

CBS News also reported that the US has used nearly all of its global stockpile of these weapons.

The Pentagon pushed back against the claims.

Sean Parnell, the chief Pentagon spokesman, said “America’s military is the most powerful in the world and has everything it needs to execute at the time and place of the President’s choosing”.

US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth also previously dismissed concerns about potential munition deficits.

So here’s something you need to read in between the lines there no actual denial of weapons shortages only the same we have enough of everything only person who seems to deny the numbers is Trump FAKE NEWS goodnight Salmon was a good choice if anyone was curious what I had for dinner

Definitely not made up.

-Irans entire navy sunk
- Ballistic missiles so degraded it could only fire 5-10 per day in recent weeks
- 85-90% of Iranian military and nuclear industries destroyed
- HEU buried so deep only the US has the equipment and expertise to extract it

- 18 dead is an historically low casualty rate
- Munitions will not only be replaced, but production capacity will triple/quadruple in the coming years.
- PAC-3 MSEs will triple to 2,000/year by 2030
$58B awarded this week for well in excess of 10,000+ interceptors
- THAAD production quadrupling to 400/year. $35B recently awarded for Talon interceptors
- Tomahawk production rising from 600/year to 1,000/year
- JASSM and PrSM stocks will be fully restocked by the end of next year
- Losses have been minimal overall, and Iran has had almost no effect on US operational tempo.

- Historically, it takes years for Middle Eastern dictatorships to be overthrown. Saddam, Gaddafi, Assad etc. Iran is at its weakest point in history. Its proxies are practically destroyed. Its economy beyond cooked, and under naval blockade.

-Hormuz is a diminishing asset. Brent crude is under $80. Millions of barrels are still transiting and Iran is fully blockaded.

It’s laughable to even compare the two. Russia has lost over 1,500,000 dead and wounded and its homeland getting smashed on a daily basis by drones and missiles.

The US achieved all of its military objectives with only 18 dead on the other side of the planet. The only leverage Iran retains is over maritime insurance companies because Iran can hit an occasional tanker with a single drone/missile.

Russia has truly been strategically defeated. The US has won the war, but since US power is so overwhelming it’s graded on perfection, and if it doesn’t achieve every ultra maximalist objective it’s “failed.”
