US Perspective on the Iran - Israel / US War

Many Iranians complain that China has neither intervened in the war nor attacked Taiwan to ease the pressure on Iran. It seems they simply enjoy wishful thinking and are capable of viewing issues only from Iran’s perspective.

Twenty years ago, Taiwan was a pawn used by the United States to contain China. Today, Taiwan is America’s testicle: if the United States abandons it, it will lose all credibility worldwide; if it does not, it must waste enormous resources every year. China can give it a squeeze at any time, forcing the United States to come rushing over from thousands of miles away.Taiwan is like a tube used to drain USA blood.

China seeks peaceful reunification with Taiwan. Once reunification is achieved, U.S. arms sales to Taiwan would be equivalent to providing military aid to China.

A Chinese conflict will primarily be a defensive counter air/naval campaign. A very different set of goals relative to the Iranian conflict. Sinking the Chinese Navy goes a long way towards winning that war.
I suggest you start a new thread with the topic of a full-scale war between China and the United States, allowing us to incubate the idea and reach an expected outcome, so that we can continue the discussion with interest.

For China, attacking Taiwan would essentially be a high-cost, low-return move that helps the United States escape its strategic predicament.
