Personally, I would be very surprised if the sanctions affected China as an official state and government, and I still hold my opinion that Washington will pursue Chinese entities and companies that are at the forefront without a direct official clash with Beijing (the Chinese state), even though I have just heard from some analysts expecting China itself to be targeted.

The brutal truth is that Iran is in the worst strategic position it’s ever been in. The future of Iran .. as a unified regional power , is basically being dismantled piece by piece by the United States. There’s no scenario where Trump “loses” anything to Iran. Iran has no real allies, no meaningful partners, and no state willing to actually bleed for them. China won’t. Russia won’t. The Arab world won’t. Europe won’t. The global system doesn’t care what happens to Iran beyond keeping oil lanes open.

And honestly, a lot of the sympathy Iran had evaporated the moment they started threatening ships in the Strait of Hormuz. People who were previously neutral or even supportive suddenly saw Iran acting like a bully, threatening civilian crews just doing their jobs. That was a massive strategic mistake. Instead of looking like a victim of pressure, they looked like an aggressor lashing out.

Iran needed to stay calm, disciplined, and predictable. Instead, they escalated with threats they couldn’t back up. Now the international mood has shifted: most countries would quietly prefer Iran to crumble rather than keep destabilising the region. That’s the reality , harsh, unfiltered, and exactly why the idea of Trump “losing” to Iran doesn’t match the geopolitical facts.

Wow extremely weird 100 suspected mines were removed so not even saying all 100 were mines and the straits are very huge and I can only assume Iran has more than 100 mines in its inventory and would have been laying many during this quiet time and many before during the height of the war……so this is starting to sound like trump is trying make a small achievement that they’re not even percent sure is the correct amount of mines that were deactivated honestly I like the one sane comment from this twitter feed

Honestly your right on that point half billion dollars a day no matter what people may pretend to keep American troops constantly stationed and I’m guessing at this point how exhausted they are on their overextended tours semi alert isn’t cost effective nor realistic but like I said unless some kind of reasonable solution comes along this is just the quiet before the storm period one guy can produce cheaper products that can overwhelm enemies the other guy has a back log of 10 years of weapons they and their allies have expended
