I’m not spamming, and I’m not sure what you have against X posts. It’s by far the best source of information for events in the region.

Zero exports of Iranian oil have already been priced in, and these tankers were part of Irans shadow fleet. Attacking them has zero to do with oil price fluctuations.

If the US sunk all of Irans tankers, Irans oil export economy would be cratered long term. No one is selling tankers to Iran and they certainly can’t build them.

Destroying Irans tankers has a long term effect on Irans economy. The USN permanently disables the oil laden and destroys the unladen.

Instead of just destroying those tankers you should just seize them if they are full of oil leaving Straits. Avoiding an oil disaster in the area.

Irans total shadow tanker fleet is 120-130. Around 50 are within the blockade line, and 10 of those have been hit in the last week.

The regime is essentially inflicting long term damage to itself with every attack.
