US Perspective on the Iran - Israel / US War

What do you mean finally some confirmation.

These launchers have been hit for the past 2 weeks now but both sides are silent because "reasons"...
Our resident self-anointed analyst wasn't able to find anything on Twitter.

In the meantime, people a little more expert on such things knew and chose not to disclose.

They’re hitting <10% of tankers that are crossing daily and the majority of those are getting repaired in the Gulf of Oman.

Oil prices are elevated because the US operation has been so wildly successful that markets are pricing in Iranian retaliation.

No - the oils prices are not elevated because the US operation has been successful. They are elevated because the Americans are running dry their strategic oil reserves and trying to flood the market to lower the prices. The day of reckoning has been kicked further down the road, that is all.

The USAF has flown 34 recorded C17 Flights into CENTCOM AOR recorded since October 8th, 2026, with the greatest surge being recorded during October 27th through to October 29th.

Note: I have deliberately withheld the ICAO route code and final destination from this table.

If you know how to connect the dots (some here don't), not hard to see who all will be at the party.

"I didn't see the IRGC out there AT ALL!" - Adm. Brad Cooper

Meanwhile in the REAL WORLD!

The IRGC are literally deploying small boats alongside tankers, attaching mines and blowing up their engine rooms...

Exactly what is happening. Or, low flying small drones at wave height then pull up at last minute.

Gotta admit; you are all over the place. An outstanding propagandist you would make.

No, markets price based off future supply disruption. The operation has been so successful, Iran is forced to retaliate which drives risk. The price has zero to do with US SPR release.

As of last Friday (data is a week in arrears), US SPR is down another 1.2M bbls to 282.6M bbls. That is the lowest level recorded since Oct. 1982.

Oil executives warned of this and I posted it here several times almost 6 months ago.

For those who are creaming in their jeans that we're bringing in all this Venezuelan crude, it doesn't matter. That crude cannot be stored in the caverns nor do we (the US) have the refining capacity to process. The US should be refining at least 22-25M bbls per day.

US capacity at the current time is a theoretical 18.2M bbls per day. That is a decrease from the previous year due to the closure of two major refineries.

You can live in denial all you want AZ. That’s certainly a choice
Not in denial at all son. You on the other hand carefully pick and choose your reality and sometimes slip to leveraging that which you have downplayed.

While you're busy cheering all these "Ws" we're stacking, I along with a couple others counter with the reality that you deliberately avoid.

You have no clue as to what is about to happen and the effects this is going to have not just in the Persian Gulf.

Seriously, as I suggested in the Russia-Ukraine thread, I can hook you up with a couple people. Give you the opportunity to get out and see the real world and the rest of the story you've been avoiding over there.

You’ve been trying to convince yourself the US economy would tank since April. “Lagging data” and all that? Meanwhile the US is growing near 3% which is >$800B in real growth. You been on and on about “muh gas prices” for months. Reality check for you, it’s had minimal effect on the average American, because they’ve consumed, consumed, and consumed some more to their hearts delight.

Trump´s Iran policy is basically a nothing burger.. The best case scenario is to just sit down if you really do not have an invasion or boots on the ground plan on the table.

This is the only way forward really and anything else is waste of time and space.

You gotta go all the way or just don´t...... But all this I am gonna launch few strikes and masturbate on that is intellectually bankrupt. You are only making them more hostile.

Iran is not even afraid? You know why because they know Trump is a coward and he won´t come and fight them with boots on the ground.

Just rolling the ball down the line will not change anything.. Iran has to be invaded and the regime has to be overthrown period.

The Mofos are threatening to cut the underwater cables not only in Hormuz but worldwide. throwing the ball down the line will not fix this but Iran has to be stormed period.

They will only give respect once they see boots on the ground and a serious intention of removing the regime.
