US Perspective on the Iran - Israel / US War

One answer. "horseshit .."..

Nope, that intel assessment is dead on and exactly what I’ve said from the start of the war. In 5 years from now if the Islamic regime has been overthrown or permanently cut off from nukes, you think I’ll care at all that gas prices were elevated in 2026? No

Trump knows setting the Islamic regime on a path towards collapse is in the long term interests of the United States.

So now you have an Iran that actually believes perhaps it was truly in their best interest in developing nuclear weapons because Trump is BFF with a country that has killed millions of its own people for the sake of their leader….Kim North Korea by the way if you didn’t know the answer

How do you analyze the situation in the Middle East in the post-Trump era?
That's an excellent question.

Right now, I don't know. All I know is what I've known for each and every administration for the last 60 years or so.

You may not care but the rest of America sure cared. It was the economy as I correctly pointed out. The Democrats successfully leveraged the mess they created under Biden, and exacerbated by Trump getting sucked into Israel's war, to their benefit.

There is no verifiable proof that has been publicized stating Iran would have a nuke by 2030. Yet, I've heard that argument for probably longer than you've been alive.

As for their missile programs? That I will agree.

All they did with attacking their missile program is send it deep underground to multiple areas in Iran and it has now shown Iran that it needs to make even more powerful, faster and precise missiles than before and perhaps better ways to launch said missiles

If the reports are true as posted by @MS Sandhu about manufacturing lines, that is undoubtedly impacting missile production as well. I don't think the program is 100% dead but it is crippled.

I even stated either in this thread or the big one (I'm a little unpopular there at the moment. If I ever was, that is.) that unless Iran's will to fight is broken, they will keep fighting.

Germany was producing weapons right up to the last day of the war. Albeit not in the quantities needed to turn the tide, but they were still producing them. What the Allies did was break their will to fight. Destroying the components of their war effort, which some here are mislabeling as "civilian infrastructure", helped to break that will to fight.

Yep, inaction would have seen a 2030 nuclear armed Iran shielded by tens of thousands of missiles and drones.

The problem was not going to war with Iran. The problem was not finishing it, and then stringing it along through worthless negotiations and MOU.

C´mon machote!!! you have the opportunity to finish it now!!!!

They NEED YOU!!!!

I have seen those brand spanking new missiles facilities underground looks like they were building these sites before the war occurred and fast tracked during the war I agree they got setback a bit but not as much as Bibi hoped they would definitely not years and outcome of this war might make Iran stronger than before so far they’re giving everyone the 🖕

Iran has been quietly building those sites for many years. This didn't just happen.

Germany was doing the same thing. They just didn't have as many years to prepare as Iran.
