US Perspective on the Iran - Israel / US War

I have seen those brand spanking new missiles facilities underground looks like they were building these sites before the war occurred and fast tracked during the war I agree they got setback a bit but not as much as Bibi hoped they would definitely not years and outcome of this war might make Iran stronger than before so far they’re giving everyone the 🖕

I don't think Iran truly thought they would have gotten attacked the way that they did. I think, going forward - the degree of preparation that Iran will do, will be an order of magnitude more now both the missile programme, but also its airforce and AD infrastructure.

I'll be blunt, and it won't be popular here for the obvious reasons: Iran has experienced nothing what the US is capable of.

Their best best was to drag this out until the mid-terms in hopes that a loss for Trump would influence his decision making going forward.

They were partially right; Trump and the Republicans lost bigly.

Iran has been quietly building those sites for many years. This didn't just happen.

Germany was doing the same thing. They just didn't have as many years to prepare as Iran.
Agree where do you think all of these groups got the blueprints to build all of these underground sites and I keep repeating the same line what’s the point of these missile cities unless they are also used to produce missiles, store them and use them from those sites

Air Force was ancient honestly if anything trump and Bibi did them a favor assuming maintaining them was astronomical and even if Irans AD isn’t on par compared to other countries Saudi Arabia has shown they’re not much better with hundreds of billions of dollars spent over the decades

I certainly think the USA has a lot lot more in the barrel, and they can do a lot of damage, up to and including destroying the entire power grid in Iran. However, that won't be without consequence to the USA if Iran does the same for the PGCC power grid and oil infrastructure as that would feed back into the USA economy as the global economy will go into melt down if that happens.

So, while the USA has a lot more, I don't think it will achieve anything that the USA wants at this stage.

I am about to drive for a few hours, otherwise I would list why I think even with all its might, won't be able to achieve a "deal".

I went to engineering school with Iranians. They were enrolled in almost all of the disciplines:

- Chemical Engineering
- Mining Engineering
- Civil Engineering
- Structural Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering

Just to name a few.

They likely had some outside assistance including Russian, German, and French engineers. I've no doubt though most of the blueprints were from their own engineers whom I have pointed out repeatedly are no slouches in the engineering disciplines.

You may not care but the rest of America sure cared. It was the economy as I correctly pointed out. The Democrats successfully leveraged the mess they created under Biden, and exacerbated by Trump getting sucked into Israel's war, to their benefit.

There is no verifiable proof that has been publicized stating Iran would have a nuke by 2030. Yet, I've heard that argument for probably longer than you've been alive.

As for their missile programs? That I will agree.

The Repubs were losing at least one chamber regardless of the war. That’s not news. Meanwhile the economy remains strong.

It wasn't that long ago that Schumer declared Trump's MOU to be little more than a surrender instrument favoring Iran.

Now? He wants to surrender:

The guys is shameless. He lauded Biden for the massive drawdown of the SPR yet when Trump tried to refill with cheap oil, he admonished him for "giving a windfall to the oil companies".

I've come to expect this from people who've never held real jobs in their lives.

America cant “take out Iran” from the air. This war never ends without boots on
the ground and mass casualties. Americans have entered a quagmire Americans don’t have the stomach to exit.

How is this a quagmire for the US? Americans aren’t dying, we’re barely losing military assets, Brent is <$100. Oil flow is back to prewar levels. Irans nuclear and military industrial facilities remain destroyed. Its Navy is gone. Irans economy is crippled. This is no quagmire. Now Russia? That’s what you call a quagmire.

This is a forever war your in and losing one American soldier is to many for a pointless war for Israel.

So Basically you didn’t learn anything from Vietnam and Iraq and Afghanistan

Forever war? There’s been no major kinetic exchange in months. It’s definitely shifted to an economic war that Iran is losing.

-Vietnam is now an ally
-Iraq is an ally free of Saddam and ISIS whose oil money flows through the Federal Reserve
- Defeat of AQ is complete
