I am all for releasing food aid to starving people. We can start right here at home. I have yet to understand how the US to this day has a hunger problem of its own when Americans waste more food per day than some people eats in a week or longer.

I am about as anti-communist as one can get, but will also call out the greed among the more well off.

The wealth gap between the top 1% and the bottom half of America happens to be far worse now than during the Robber Baron years of the 1890s to 1920s, but no one wants to acknowledge it.

When you consider the billions that have been wasted (I will not say spent) on social programs since LBJ started his "Great War on Poverty" in the mid 1960s with nothing to show for it, we need to have a SERIOUS reset in the US. A SERIOUS reset.
