US Political News and Trump’s China visit

And this whole process has been wholly unconstitutional and against the spirit of checks and balances. It has created so many problems.
Come to think of it, I don't remember any Democratic government implementing emergency power to target the United States and by-passing Congress, almost all emergency laws I remember (In that nature) come from a GOP president, we have GHW Bush and his Patriot Act, and then you have Trump sanctioning ICC with his first term, most "Emergency" act usually were targetting overseas national, but I don't remember any Democrats leader enact one for within the United States outside the obvious Health Emergency like 2003 SARS Endemic, 2009 H1N9 Swine Flu and the 2020 Coronavirus.

Of course, the Democrats keep riding on those laws as long as they can, but I think it's not fair to say "they had been doing this for 25 years" and bash the whole boatload of people.

On the otherhand, I am looking forward for the SCOTUS to allow Trump Tariff and rule they are constitutional, price are still low (low as in not as expected to be this low, but it still high) because company are holding out to pass the tariff to the consumer because they are hinging on this will be reverse, if SCOTUS rolled over and allow this, I don't see any company would eat the Tariff and they would have to pass on to the consumer, well, I know I would because that's what I am going to do with my business in the US if SCOTUS roll over and allow the Tariff to stand.

ICE is spending billions converting warehouses to detention centers. Soon all those who dislike Dear Leader will become guests of ICE.

Other than your speculation about those who dislike the President, what is wrong with this?

Perhaps you'd prefer tent cities then such as what former Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio set up?

US Military Helping Trump to Build Massive Network of ‘Concentration Camps,’ Navy Contract Reveals

“It means the infrastructure is currently a ‘ghost’ network that can be materialized anywhere in the US the moment a site is picked,” Manríquez wrote.

Amid its push to deport 1 million people each year, the White House has said it needs to dramatically increase the scale of its detention apparatus to add more beds for those who are arrested. But Manríquez said documents suggest “this isn’t just about bed space; it’s about the rapid deployment of self-contained cities.”

In addition to tent cities capable of housing thousands, contract line items include facilities meant for sustained living—including closed tents likely for medical treatment and industrial-sized grills for food preparation.

They also include expenditures on “Force Protection” equipment, like earth-filled defensive barriers, 8-foot-high CONEX box walls, and “Weather Resistant” guard shacks.

Eric Feigl-Ding, an epidemiologist and health economist, said the contract’s provision of materials meant to deal with medical needs and death was “extra chilling.” According to the report, “services extend to ‘Medical Waste Management,’ with specific protocols for biohazard incinerators.”

The new reporting from Migrant Insider comes on the heels of a report last week from Bloomberg that US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has used some of the $45 billion to purchase warehouses in nearly two dozen remote communities, each meant to house thousands of detainees, which it said “could be the largest expansion of such detention capacity in US history.”

Travel groups and airlines are warning of potential disruption as the US federal government partially shut down after lawmakers failed to reach a deal on funding the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) .

Several groups, including Airlines for America, said in a joint statement on Friday that without a deal, the risk of unscheduled absences by Transportation Security Administration workers increased, causing flight delays and longer wait times.
"Travellers and the US economy cannot afford to have essential TSA personnel working without pay," they said.

A partial government shutdown began at midnight (05:00 GMT) on Saturday after Congress failed to pass a bill to fund DHS operations.

In exchange for a funding deal, Democrats had been pushing for more restrictions on US Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE), which will not be significantly affected by the shutdown because of funding from the "One Big Beautiful Bill Act" last year.

Democrats have been demanding reforms after federal agents killed Alex Pretti and Renee Good, two Minneapolis residents who were protesting the Trump administration's immigration raids in Minnesota, in January.

Good, the empty wallet is among the few gestures that thugs understand.
