How a must-win MI Senate race just became a GOP opening

I’ve been watching the Democratic primary for the Michigan Senate seat, and I wanted to share why I just sent a donation to Mallory McMorrow’s campaign.

For me, it’s about common sense. I really respect that she stopped taking money from the Israeli lobby. We’re already seeing how these conflicts are escalating toward Iran, and if we don't get some independent leadership in D.C., who’s next? Turkey? Pakistan? I can’t support the mainstream candidate, Heley Steven, because she’s still taking that lobby money. We need someone who isn't bought and paid for if we want to avoid being dragged into even more wars.

At the same time, I can’t go to the other extreme with Abdul Sayed. His "Defund ICE" stance is a total dealbreaker. I’ve seen the "Defund the police" disaster firsthand, getting robbed at gunpoint and having my brand new car vandalized by a far-lefty.

Our police already wear badges and cameras for accountability, and I believe ICE should be held to those same standards, but we still need them to do their jobs so we don't have total chaos.

McMorrow feels like the only reasonable person in the race. She’s willing to stand up to the lobbyists without trying to dismantle law enforcement. She’s the only one who actually sounds like a sensible choice to me.

Bernie disagrees with you and McMorrow is just another politician for rent.

WASHINGTON — A Secret Service officer shot a person near the White House around 4 p.m. Monday, an agency spokesperson confirmed.

The shooting happened at 15th Street and Independence Avenue in Washington, D.C., and the condition of the person shot is unknown. A media staging area has formed, and more information is expected to be released soon.

The urgent and pressing question that faces all of us: what is the political solution in a system where elected officials conspire with elites who hold the voters themselves in contempt?

That means Alabama, Tennessee, SC and many other good ol boy states can proceed with possibly adding 20 seats in the House.

In dissent, Jackson said the majority “unshackles itself” from “constraints.” The court should follow the default rule, she insisted.

It sparked a sharp rebuke from Alito, joined by fellow Justices Clarence Thomas and Neil Gorsuch. The trio, all part of the court’s conservative wing, called one part of Jackson’s dissent “baseless and insulting.”

“The dissent in this suit levels charges that cannot go unanswered,” Alito wrote. “The dissent would require that the 2026 congressional elections in Louisiana be held under a map that has been held to be unconstitutional.”

I've been somewhat remotely curious about this case:

Seeing her photo, all sorts of weird speculation has gone through my head:

It is funny how JP Morgan is trying hard to discredit this.
