US Political News and Trump’s China visit

The U.S. loosens the leash to make Pakistan feel some freedom until it's time to yank it again.

The Pakistani American community works hard for this, recently they've petitioned to blacklist serving members of the armed forces.

Pakistani-Americans act in their community's best interests. If the nation welcomes remittances, it should also consider their interests.

It's a bogus propaganda that people send these remittances for greater good of the country. It's like saying people have money in Swiss banks because they care for Swiss people.

The remittances sent indirectly provide a lifeline to the country, an injection of forex that is much greater than foreign direct investment and exports. It is because of remittances that the rupee has some sense of stability. Directly, it helps the local population feed and clothe their families while stimulating the local economy, which the government has consistently failed to do through its policies.

As for the Swiss bank, we can cross that bridge when you actually have savings to put away.

We have all read great stories about remittances and how they are 'extracted' by your closed ones and under what pretences. No love for country is driving these and Pakistan landed itself in big troubles due to your havala hundi charitable deeds.

It's sickening to say the least that somehow you people believe since you send some money to your relatives that you get to play God or have institutions of the country be mortgaged to your interests.

Common Pakistanis weren't getting visa anyway, so this ban doesn't affect Pakistan much. It affects the elite class in Pakistan and we should all welcome it.

Naa bro.. you can't even vote properly..

The section of the society that earns half of the foreign currency for Pakistan has the least number of rights, or even if they have, the access to them has been made very hard for them.

That's what irks me the most, and we have to hear their moral standing to keep sending, but we can't even say a word. Even Westerners who have not lived in or sent money to their country of origin can still vote, even if they have not set foot in the country for the last twenty years.

Before it affects people in Pakistan, it will have an impact on Pakistani Americans who don't have a right now to have their blood relatives visit them or unite with them, be it in grief or happiness. They seem fine forgoing such rights but want to influence affairs of a country they don't want to live in.

the way things r going around the world, soon people will b forced to leave the west back to the east (for those that can). The west is on a sharp decline now.
Quality of life is suffering now in north america generally thanks to hyperinflation and high taxes and over-immigration
I agree. You can predict that there is mass migration coming from west to east. That's how things are.

They will visit their relatives, that's hardly a problem.

Pakistan should strip them of nationality if it has so much problem with them. They will be ok in that case too.

There's a bill in the US to have dual nationality revoked. Ap sab ki nek khuwahishat pori hongi. Hausla rakhen, ghabrana nahi hai.

Asim Munir doing next level prostitution for USA.
He just handed over the complete processing of 30 billion USD remittances from overseas Pakistanis to a US firm, and this is the result 😅😅

Out of the list of the 75 countries who's citizens are now banned from settling in the USA , Pakistan is the only country with such as agreement with a US firm.

The US firm in question has got Donald Trump family as major stake holders .
