This does not align with China's advocated multipolar policy. This could be great opportunity for China to show it cares for world health by providing the funds as the next superpower, and turn USA's loss into China's win.
Yes someone else takes the lead and pays the bills and China just gets to surf with minimum effort. This does not align with China's advocated multipolar policy.
Multipolarity promotes multiple countries jointly participating in global governance and decision-making.

I am not a fan of USA behavior either, as it violated the spirit of these international orgs to push it's own agenda.Exactly. Everybody wants USA to be the leader when it comes to paying bills, but then everybody hates USA for being the leader.
The time has come for the world - including China - to drop this charade. Either put up the money or shut up and follow.

WHO spokesperson Lindmeier clearly stated that the United States has the right to withdraw from the World Health Organization, but the premise is that it must settle all previously owed dues. Currently, the U.S. has not paid the fees due for 2024 and 2025, totaling about $260 million over two years.是的,别人带头付账,中国只需付出最少的努力就能冲浪。
Every criticism of a country isn't slander or a personal attack on a particular person. My friend, you don't know much about China and the United Nations World Health Organization. Twenty percent of the WHO’s budget is shared by member states, while 80% comes from contributions from member countries and organizations.
China wants to take action but does not want to be a hegemon. China has no obligation to pay for the actions of the United States.
China has paid approximately 17.65% of the dues. In May 2025, China will begin a voluntary donation of $500 million to fund the global vaccine program for the next five years. China is the largest donor to the World Health Organization.
The WHO official website only provides data up to 2020/2021.

Many times, we stand together, and I believe you are a patriot; we all want our country to become better. If you have doubts, you can ask me to provide evidence, rather than slandering my country. My country provided me with nine years of free education, free university loans, which I was able to pay off without stress in the first year after graduation. My country provides scholarships and grants for students in poverty, housing for people in difficulty, and agricultural subsidies for families like mine. I cannot accept your slander against China, especially coming from our good brother, a Pakistani. ...
Are you a good person, and are you willing to pay the price for the actions of a bad person?Everybody loves to jointly participate - except when it comes to paying the bills.![]()

Without the UN order, China's vision of world order is multipolar, with all countries having equal sovereignty, discussing together the future development of the world.
My friend, we all believe that the United States withdrawing from the World Health Organization is inappropriate and a disaster for countries in need of health support.Every criticism of a country isn't slander or a personal attack on a particular person. I am sorry if you felt that way.
Indeed the US should pay its dues to the WHO.
