I have been keeping a close eye on the Michigan Senate race, and the sheer level of hypocrisy in mainstream political reporting is unbelievable.

I supported Mallory early on, but after she dropped out, I did not donate to either campaign. I still respected Haley for her work alongside the Obama administration to help bail out our auto industry, but her total reliance on AIPAC money and her refusal to take a stand against unconditional foreign aid was a dealbreaker for me, especially with everything happening in Gaza and the escalating conflict with Iran.

That led me to take a real look at Abdul, and the way the media smeared him is absurd. In one breath, commentators call him an Islamist extremist, and in the next, they call him a communist. You cannot be a religious fundamentalist and an atheist communist at the same time. They are just throwing contradictory scare words at the wall to see what sticks.

Abdul has explicitly stated he is a capitalist who supports strong social safety nets, which happens to be exactly what I believe in. When critics call him anti-Israel for wanting to cut off foreign aid, they conveniently ignore that he wants to cut off military aid to Egypt as well, which is the country of his own ancestors. His position is not about targeting one Country. He simply believes we should not be spending billions of American taxpayer dollars to bankroll foreign governments, including 1.3 billion dollars to Egypt and 1.45 billion dollars to Jordan, just to fuel endless Middle Eastern wars.

It is embarrassing how long it took me to see past the noise, but Abdul is actually standing up for working people over special interests. He has my full support now, and I am definitely sending donations his way.

Minnesota is a deep blue state so blue that even Reagan himself lost during the 84 tsunami victory. A republican is more likely to win gov, senator or electoral vote for president in Cali than in Minnesota. Minnesota (its twin cities) is on my list of places to get nuked if I had no choice but to pick 10-15 cities for nuking.

Democratic candidate James Talarico is running a brilliant ad featuring actual security camera footage from a courthouse checkpoint. It shows Paxton picking up another attorney’s luxury $1,000 Montblanc pen and walking off with it.

His team claimed it was just an "unintentional mix-up," but pocketing someone else’s property isn't an isolated mistake, it’s a snapshot of his entire career:

Impeached by his own party: The conservative-led Texas House overwhelmingly voted to impeach him on 20 counts, including bribery, obstruction, and abusing his office to favor a donor.

Securities fraud felony case: Spent nearly a decade under felony indictment before agreeing to community service and paying $300,000 in restitution.

FBI investigation: Top conservative aides in his own office blew the whistle on him to federal law enforcement for corruption.

I totally agree, the guy is out of his mind. Imagine refusing to concede in an internal Republican primary. If he lacks the basic decency to admit he lost to members of his own party, imagine the endless conspiracy theories and BS he would be throwing around in a general election against a Democrat.

I don't know much about Minnesota, but California comes up in my discussions all the time since I have friends who moved from there and we talk politics constantly. I couldn't believe Minnesota could be more Democratic than California, so I did some digging to find out the truth.

You're right, Reagan won 49 states and only lost Minnesota. But he mainly lost there because Walter Mondale was a Minnesota native and former U.S. Senator from there. Even with that home-field advantage, Mondale barely won the state by just 3,761 votes out of over two million cast (49.7% to 49.5%).

Look at the other numbers: Hillary won California by over 30 percentage points against Trump, but only won Minnesota by 1.5 points. Biden won California by more than 29 points, but Minnesota by 7.1. Kamala won California by 20 points, but Minnesota by only 4.2 points.

So, if you're building a list of cities to wipe off the map, you’ve got plenty of options right there in California without looking all the way over in Minnesota. Pretty sure your own city takes the top spot, its called Self-Destruction. lol

She is a brave, dynamic and quite strategic politician but alas too far left. If she can get rid of Senator Chuck Schumer in New York, it would be a huge achievement and help her movement a lot. Afterwards a presidential run is possible.

With regards to Harris, actually she had less baggage than Ocasio Cortez who is a lightning rod for the right, but Kamala Harris herself is a very minor politician compared to AOC.

Yes, the super-rich owned politicians, media and internet have done their best to tear the people apart culturally and politically. I still think talk of "civil war" is nonsense and more blackmail and distraction by the same super-rich class.
