For a Chinese Canadian, you seem to be extraordinary impressed by the most banal goings on in U.S. politics. No American gives a damn where Trump keeps his hands during a football match. Are Canada and China that boring?

This is one thing on which he has my unconditional support. If he wants to be a true Napolean, he should go ahead and get rid of time zones. We are way past 19th century. I don't even wear a wristwatch. Haven't changed batteries in over 10-15 years.

I consider myself Chinese. Americans are far less patriotic compared to Chinese. It's understandable. China is an ethnic nation state. The US is not. You can speak whatever language you want in the US.

In general, Republicans are more patriotic than Democrats.

Trump is a tradition breaker. If he pushes it, it is not difficult. Time zones were invented by railroads. Most Americans have never sat in a train. China works well with one time zone. There is no reason we can't adopt this one good thing.
