The Republican Speaker of the House negotiated a budget extension bill with Democrats, but then unelected Musk began his day by objecting to the bill's compromises and declaring that any Republican who supported it should be removed from office, thus far, he has posted 70 times trashing the bill. And only hours later, after Musk had led the way, did Trump catch up with his apparent boss and join the opposition to the bill. Absolutely pathetic.

We are on the verge of establishing a full-fledged Russian style oligarchy.

Democracy doesn't work. Only authoritarianism works. Rome started off as a democracy and became authoritarian under Octavian. China and Russia work. The US don't work. It's dysfunctional.
