An acquaintance of mine, Billy, was the lead in an operation to capture Noriega one evening. As they were about to make their move, a young family just happen to be walking by.

The order came from above the young family had to be eliminated.

Billy told me his entire unit was stunned.

As the leading officer, Billy did the dirty deed himself. Slit the throats of the father, mother, and young child. Turned out, Noriega wasn't even in the neighborhood.

Billy had nightmares for the rest of his life. And it took a toll on his health. Finally, just over ten years ago, he got out his service revolver and shot himself in the heart.

I am part of the camp who is hoping this happens. During Trump's first term, then Oakland mayor Libby Schauf endangered the lives of US immigration agents by announcing in advance that a raid was scheduled. She should have immediately been arrested for that.
