US Political News and Trump’s China visit

By this foaming-at-the-mouth response, we may understand that you are red from hat to toe. Your views and deductions are fascinating.
Joe, to a great degree, SW is not wrong. Most of LA, Compton, and a couple other surrounding communities are terrible.

SFO? I compared what it looked like 20 years ago compared with a recent trip. There is none? A number of parts of the city remind me of the slums in some of the 3rd world countries I've been.

The drive from Oakland Airport to Union City where my SFO operation is based? The slums around the Mexico City airport are better.

South side of Newark, NJ? Welcome of Baghdad, baby. Well, the same could be said about Secaucus as well.

Detroit? Quite a bit reminded me of Fallujah.

Atlanta? Same thing only they talk funny. In 9 years of travel there I have never witnessed such an explosion in homeless encampments as I did the past year and a half maybe 2 years.

I could list any number of additional examples of just how bad it is in Democrat-run cities.

Education in the inner city schools? Don't get me started.

I live in the US have seen how downtown looks like. You might also want to research that even some democrats are admitting democrat run cities are sht holes.
Maybe - probably - you are right. Beyond a point, efficiency without human rights is boring. We've been through the trains running on time. In India, we've been through the intimidation, and the strictly momentary improvement in civic management, during the Emergency, and were not impressed.
For those of you obsessed with the inefficiency of urban areas run by Democrats, that is the attitude and the thinking that led to the frightful Trump administration.

You must be right, you and SW too. The trouble is that the US voter seems to have responded to what you have described by voting in a wrecking crew.

No need to be sarcastic, my friend. I'm simply stating the facts. Regardless of the party in power at the administration level, Democrat-run cities have gotten worse, not better.

My former wife is a California girl. From San Diego. 40 years ago the city was awesome. It too has degraded. Not to the extent of the aforementioned cities but degraded nonetheless. Which is too bad.

As for the "wrecking crew", maybe that is just what is needed to turn this ship around. Because Democrat policies clearly aren't working.

FWIW, I know where Nancy Pelosi lives in SFO. Nice neighborhood. 1/2-3/4 mile away? Not so nice.. Down along the wharf? Disgusting.
