When Texas Democrats fled to Illinois a few days ago in an effort to stop the state legislature from moving forward with redistricting efforts, they traveled there by private plane. How did they afford such a thing? Beto O’Rourke’s PAC apparently paid for it.

This makes sense when you consider that O’Rourke has run for almost every possible office in Texas except dog catcher and has lost every time. Beto probably jumped at the chance to help these Democrats.

This news is certainly not going to help their cause with Texas voters.

The Washington Free Beacon reports:

Now We Know: Beto O’Rourke’s PAC Funded Texas Dems’ Private Jet to Illinois

State lawmakers in Texas make just $7,200 a year. A group of Democratic legislators spent roughly four times that amount to take a private jet to Illinois in an attempt to block their Republican counterparts from passing a new congressional map. But they didn’t have to worry about the price tag—because Beto O’Rourke’s PAC picked it up.

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott sues to remove House Democratic leader amid redistricting battle

In an escalation in the Texas redistricting battle, Republican Gov. Greg Abbott filed an emergency petition Aug. 5 seeking to remove the Democratic House leader from office after lawmakers fled en masse to block efforts to redraw the state's congressional districts.

More than 50 Democratic lawmakers left the Lone Star State on Aug. 3 to deny Republicans the quorum needed to vote on the redistricting plan sought by President Donald Trump. By redrawing the state's 38 congressional districts, the Republican Party hopes to flip five U.S. congressional seats currently held by Democrats in next year's midterm elections.

Abbott filed the lawsuit with the Texas Supreme Court to have state Rep. Gene Wu removed from office, arguing that Wu and other House Democrats who fled the state "constitute abandonment of their office, justifying their removal."

The governor further alleged that Wu and the Democrats "appear to have solicited and received certain benefits in exchange for skipping a vote, further supporting their removal from office and allegations of bribery." Abbott has ordered the Texas Rangers to investigate whether the Democrats violated bribery laws.

I swear the democrats are one of the biggest titty babies in politics. They throw tantrums when it doesn't go there way and are not ashamed of hypocrisy. In Cali the dems are going to do the same cht but they don't talk about that. They did the same cht in Illinois but that was then.

Btw...

Dem political party really is all about power. Funny thing is with all the shenanigan's dems pull they still have no control of the house. Even if Texas was not redistricting GOP is likely to hold on to the house of rep. I think it's time to go for the jugular and launch a heavy assault on illegals by ICE on blue states in democratic districts especially in California as residence keep moving out of the state dems will start losing seats like NY has lost. You go after illegals they can't be counted in census which means more seats loss by dems.

Denying quorum has been a Texas political strategy since 1870

While the Democrats could technically derail the GOP’s redistricting map, such efforts have been largely symbolic and had limited success blocking past legislation, experts say.

"Falsified Bank Documents And Property Records": Sen. Adam Schiff Under Criminal Investigation For Mortgage Fraud

How does the old expression go? "When you point one finger at someone, three point back at you?"

Sen. Adam Schiff - best known for dramatizing Trump’s Ukraine call during his first term, misidentifying evidence in texts, overstating “collusion” findings, and defending a FISA memo later found to contain false statements - is under criminal investigation for alleged mortgage fraud, according to a Trump administration source cited by Fox News.

Laura Ingraham revealed the news on "The Ingraham Angle" last night, reporting that the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Maryland is conducting the probe.

5 soldiers shot.
Much of the lockdown at Fort Stewart was lifted early Wednesday afternoon, in the wake of the shooting of five soldiers.

"The installation was locked down at 11:04 a.m. and Fort Stewart lifted the lockdown of the main cantonment area at 12:10 p.m.," according to a base statement.

But the area used by the 2nd Armored Brigade Combat Team remains closed as investigators process the scene.
