To be fair most American Jewish find him to be a complete embarrassment. At least the ones I know.

They're some of his largest donors. They seem to view him as a necessary evil for some matters like striking Iran, fighting against progressive candidates and criminalizing activism at American Universities. I'm sure they also see him as a fool but I and other Americans don't appreciate them emboldening and enabling him politically where his damage ends up harming all Americans.

With that I don't believe he can declare anything called 'martial law' nor will it do anything. People will still go out and vote.

I agree that some of the elites are like that. I was referring to the regular average Jewish American who goes to work and takes care of his family just like anybody else

HB2224 would ban pet owners from declawing their cats and impose fines up to $1,500. Veterinarians who perform the procedure would face license suspension.

Abdul Sayed has been consistent from the beginning. He opposes more Middle Eastern wars, he opposes unconditional aid to Israel, and he believes the money spent overseas should be invested in health care, schools, and communities here in America. In his interview with Mehdi Hasan, he also made it clear that he has a good relationship with establishment Democrats. He met Senator Schumer and received nearly ten million dollars in party support, so the claim that Democrats want him to lose is simply not true.

Mike Rogers is the opposite. He supported almost every major US intervention in the Middle East, including Iraq, Libya, and Syria. He opposed the Iran nuclear deal and supported unconditional aid to Israel. When Trump and Netanyahu launched military operations against Iran, Rogers fully supported the action and praised the strikes. Now that the election is close, he is suddenly calling for Trump to end the Iran war and using grocery prices as his justification.

His new message does not match his long (2001/2015) record, and voters can clearly see the contrast. Abdul has been consistent, while Rogers is trying to reposition himself at the last minute.

I invest in the stock market and I’ve made strong returns, but I also run a retail business and my customers are struggling..

So when the S&P 500 or Dow goes up, almost all of the gains flow to the wealthiest slice of the population. The people on Main Street, the ones dealing with rent, groceries, gas, and bills, barely see any of it. Wall Street’s success does not reflect Main Street’s reality.

You are right about what Mamdani wants. The unusual part is not Mamdani’s motive but Trump’s. In both his first and second administrations, Trump has never had this kind of respectful relationship with a Democrat who still criticizes him. Trump normally has zero tolerance for anyone criticizing him, even behind his back. So allowing Mamdani to criticize him directly, in front of him, and inside the White House was completely unique. The same dynamic appeared again at Graci Mansion.

My conclusion is simple. Mamdani has genuinely impressed Trump.

What Trump wants in return is connected to NYC. He has deep emotional roots there. He was born in Queens, ran his father’s business there, built his first major projects there, and created the symbols he always talks about. He lost the respect he once had in the city. Through Mamdani, who is a popular mayor, Trump sees a chance to reconnect with the city he still feels attached to.

So, the bottom line is that Mamdani impressed Trump, and Trump wants emotional and symbolic reconciliation with New York City through him.
