Nothing new here she just said out loud what the vast majority of dem politicians and their voters would like to do to their political enemies. GOP voters and politicians see the dems as wrong but the dems see them as evil which is why you have assassinations and assassination attempts on conservatives.

There's a frustrated, just had enough, small part of me that would love to see the fear of tyranny on the dems eyes just once. Everything the dems and their crazy voters claim the GOP/conservative politicians are I wish it came true on them.

How about that? I've found yet another reason to not fly on United.

The uninvited ombudsman has been able to determine if CEO Scott Kirby is going to voluntarily reduce his compensation package to a paltry $50,000 per year.

He is correct about wealth inequality here in America.

Just received my annual raise. Manager apologized again for the 2% (the max).

How about capping the stockholders to 2% and not record profits? How about giving the employees some?

I am at the point if the commies want to eat the rich, have at it.

Look up top executive pay vs average pay from 1900 to today.

The multiple an executive makes over the average employee today is criminal.

Looked it up. 1950s and 1960s 20 to 1.

Today, 290 to 1.

To be honest, top corporate executives are not even worth 2 to 1.

Food sucks, housing sucks, infrastructure sucks, the quality of everything now days suck.

Every time I see someone like this CEO or a Ro Khanna or another of the leftist elites, who also happen to be wealthy leftist elites, talk about wealth inequality, I want to scream.

Why?

Because I see no effort on their part to voluntarily give up their wealth in terms of equality. But they sure are all gung-ho on taking someone else's wealth in the name of equality.

Elizabeth Warren is another. As is Nancy Pelosi. And, of all people, Crazy Bernie, who never held a real job in his life yet is a multimillionaire himself and owns three houses.

Communism, not facism.

This is just a small fraction of the subsidies a working man like me is forced to pay to keep the racket going through taxes and inflation (the worst form of taxation).

How about the $1.5 trillion dollar defense budget, to protect the rackets of international corporations? No one with an IQ above room temperature really believes the fairy tail the USA military is protecting "our freedoms."

One can also argue the majority of social welfare programs are actually subsidies to corporations who do not pay a living wage.

How about the tens of billions spent on immigrants the elite let flood into America to drive down our wages and increase rents, health insurance, police, among other expenses?

The legal fiction a corporation is a person was the beginning of the downfall of America.

“This Court decided at an early date, with neither argument nor discussion, that a business corporation is a “person” entitled to the protection of the Equal Protection Clause of the Fourteenth Amendment.”
- Justice Rehnquist
Santa Clara County v. Southern Pacific R. Co., 118 U.S. 394 (1886) is one of the landmark Supreme Court cases that first introduced the idea of corporate personhood as we know it today.

The corporate executive who snuck corporate personhood into Supreme Court history

Even the adoption of the 14th Amendment is questionable.

Election Countdown: 13 Days Remaining.

Been looking at RCP, Race to the WH, Kalshi, Polymarket and recent polling.

House:

Democrats 226, Toss up 22, Republicans 187. Realclearpolitics.

Democrats 88.9% chance. Republicans 11.1%. Race to the WH

Democrats sweep 65%. Republicans 9.3%. Kalshi

Democrats 90%. Republicans 10%. Polymarket

Senate:

Democrats 46. Toss up 8. Republicans 46. Realclearpolitics

Democrats 72.9% chance. Republicans 27.1%. Race to the WH

Democrats sweep 65%. Republicans 9.3%. Kalshi

Democrats 63%. Republicans 37%. Polymarket

The thing that jumps out to me is that it's not just pollings anymore. The prediction markets are showing a pretty similar trend.

Meanwhile voters are still getting hammered by inflation, high housing costs, expensive groceries, gas prices, diesel prices, and all the usual economic bullshit that people deal with every day. Corruption concerns also seem to be climbing higher on the list of issues.

Still 13 days left, so anything can happen. But based on where the numbers sit today, Democrats are looking a hell of a lot stronger than they did earlier in the year.

If John Cornyn was Talerico's opponent, it wouldn't be as close as it is now.

I still think Ken Paxton will probably win, but it'll be because people will walk into that voting booth and hold their nose

It's sadly because it's all about the team sport
Yeah, I agree. If this were Cornyn, we probably wouldn't even be having this conversation. Trump has visited Texas four times already, and Musk has poured over $158 million into crooked Paxton. That's an insane amount of money and attention for a supposedly safe red-state race. Looks like panic to me.

AP did a voter motivation poll last week, and it said Democrats are 76% motivated to vote, while Republicans are only 33%. This is a very important factor in any US election since the biggest voting bloc is the people who don't vote.

If things are where it stands right now in 12 days, the Dems are going to sweep Congress with estimate 30-35 seat majority. I doubt the Dems could take the Senate, though; to do that, they would have to win both NC and Maine, keep MN and MI, and then win 2 of TX, AK, IA, and KS. And I only see TX as a maybe; Alaska, Iowa, and Kansas, my home state, is probably not going to turn Blue. But then anything could happen in the next 12 days.......
