US Political News and Views

Oh my goodness, I honestly cannot believe what I am looking at.

The final polls from two of the most respected pollsters in the country, NYT/Siena and AtlasIntel, are absolutely eye-popping.

NYT/Siena Final Senate Polls

Michigan: El-Sayed 53% - Rogers 42% (D+11)

Texas: Talarico 50% - Paxton 43% (D+7)

Maine: Jackson 51% - Collins 45% (D+6)

Kansas: Hamilton 49% - Marshall 44% (D+5)

Ohio: Brown 49% - Husted 44% (D+5)

Alaska: Peltola 48% - Sullivan 46% (D+2)

Iowa: Turek 48% - Hinson 47% (D+1)

AtlasIntel Final Senate Polls

Texas: Talarico 52% - Paxton 46% (D+6)

Ohio: Brown 51% - Husted 44% (D+7)

I am loving these numbers, but I have to be honest, they are so good that I am having a hard time believing them myself.

But here's the thing: NYT/Siena and AtlasIntel are not random partisan pollsters. They are widely considered among the best in the business. When two top-tier pollsters start showing results like this, you can't simply dismiss them.

Maybe they're picking up a late Democratic surge. Maybe they'll end up being wrong. But wow, these numbers are hard to ignore.

@AZ_HighCountry @Davey Crockett

Hey guys, I hear you and I appreciate the discussion. For now, though, I'm focused on the election and don't want to jump into a half-finished debate. After the election is over, I'll circle back, answer your questions, and we can have a thorough discussion. Just give me a little time and patience.

For a party that claims to be inclusive and welcomes diverse views and opinions, the Democrat Party is not it.

As I understood it growing up, an elected representative was there to represent their constituents who put them there. Not the Party. But the people.

Somewhere along the way, absolutely in the Democrat Party, that all changed. Either get in line, and vote the way we tell you, or you will be without support.

Haley Stevens is now about to experience that for voicing her views and opinions:

To me, that sounds like tyranny.

Dems have rightfully grown tired of greedy, unprincipled, deceitful, treacherous backstabbers like Haley Stevens, Joe Manchin, Kirsten Sinema and Fetterman. Clearly these people put their wallets above all and are loyal to their donors only.

Or perhaps the folks you mention saw / see the Democrat Party for what it truly is?

Both Manchin and Sinema were steadfast in their opposition to doing away with the filibuster. What's wrong with that? Even Fetterman, who was fairly radical in his own ideas during his tenure as Lt.Gov. in PA has recognized just how far left the radical arm of the Democrat Party truly is.

Remember what I said; our elected officials are supposed to be representing us. Not some party line. Not some radical ideology. And certainly not something which goes against the concerns of their constituents.

Both sides have their big donors. Do not doubt me on this. Talarico for example, who aspires to represent Texas, was in California on a couple of occasions suckling up to big donors there to fund his campaign. Is he representing Texans? Or will he be doing the bidding of the California billionaires who bankrolled him?
