I guess you're ok with ICE forcefully entering homes without a warrant - as long as it isn't your home. And I suppose it's ok if an administration you like does it to people that don't look and sound like you. But the problem with the erosion of civil rights is that the next administration perhaps one you don't agree with can disregard your civil rights because you don't conform to their norm.

Interesting testimony. I have been around long enough to understand why a certain personality trait would work a certain job.
I do not intend to debate this matter, as it is beyond debate and is apparent to the naked eye. I will continue sharing important testimony however...

Donald Trump’s fascist militia, the Immigration and Customs Enforcement unit (ICE), are facing stiff opposition from the Black Panthers. The Black power movement are showing up on the streets of America to face up to thugs from ICE. And, the Panthers are ready to resist against border agents, cops, and any other agents of the state hell-bent on spreading terror.
Just over the past month, ICE have been caught on camera murdering people at will, assaulting, detaining, and hunting down people of colour. They’ve been holding indigenous Americans hostage as their unchecked reign of terror spreads like wildfire.

I've already posted somewhere the racial makeup of ICE. Hardly the racist fascists you want them to be.
Want to see fascism at work? How about the arrest of Roger Stone. Or Steve Bannon. Or the Biden DOJ getting the cell phone records of everyone who was in the vicinity of the capital on January 6th then arresting them. Or that many of those were placed in solitary for months. Or the same Biden DOJ investigating parents who spoke out at school board meetings as possible domestic terrorists.
I interacted with ICE, US Customs, Postal, Border Patrol, and TSA agents numerous times over the course of my career. All good people and professional at their jobs.

Patriot Act expired in 2020. The Federal Law Enforcement actions previously legal under the act now requires a judge signed warrant.

By the way, an interesting fact.
The "Memo" the ICE said they don't need a warrant to enter your home is from this Supreme Court Case "Case v Montana", which is based on 2nd and 4th Amerndment, where the Police can enter your home in an emergency without a warrant and enforce the law (Previosuly the provision is the LE can only enter but cannot enforce law, everything else is suppressed)

And this is the same law that a lot of Pro-Gun group protest while Anti-Immigration group celebrate
I can already see what the Dems can do with this when they come back in power...
