In a detailing of what the DHS says happened Wednesday morning, Noem said that around 10:30 a.m., one of her agency’s vehicles became stuck in the snow. Law enforcement agents were attempting to push the vehicle out of the snow, Noem said, when a “mob of agitators” began blocking them in and shouting at them.

Noem said the driver, who has been identified by family as 37-year-old Renee Nicole Good, was harassing and impeding ICE agents. Noem said, agents repeatedly told Good to get out of the car, but she refused to obey.

Noem then said Good “proceeded to weaponize her vehicle, and she attempted to run a law enforcement officer over.”

Noem said an ICE agent fired “defensive shots” in line with his training and was hit by the vehicle.

Witnesses to the shooting that occurred on East 34th Street and Portland Avenue quickly disputed the Trump administration’s account of the incident, claiming Good was shot while trying to leave the scene in her car. The shooting has sparked protests in Minneapolis and prompted strong condemnation from state and city leaders, including Mayor Jacob Frey, who called for ICE to leave.

Earlier today, there was an incident involving ICE and a female resulting in the death of the female.

A number of videos have been released including one that clearly shows the female driver hitting the ICE agent with her vehicle just prior to her death.

If you are inclined to discuss the situation, I would caution everyone to be neutral in the comments and not make any unnecessary comments or draw ill-informed conclusions. The facts will eventually come out. But for now, those opposed to ICE are leveraging what best presents their argument in the situation.

Minnesota dems and media wanted this to happen. The Minneapolis Somali cultural appropriating mayor weeks ago said people are going to die because of Ice agents being there and Tampon Tim called Ice Gestapo during a graduation speech in May. They wanted this and don't care about the lady who got killed. First question out of mouth from dem media was what's the name of agent not what's the name of lady killed.

Blue cities are a cancer and I think 2026 is going to be the year where skulls will have to be cracked. Time to send in troops.

Btw if a LEO is in front of your car and you decide to drive towards LEO you will likely die from gunshot. My late teens I was a ricer/racer and one time we (100+ cars) decided to drive to Otay Mesa about 100 meters from border (2am) on empty streets surrounded by empty warehouses right off the highway and we raced for a good 30 minutes until the Border Patrol got bored watching us and decided to move in on us so of course we fled and as I and my wingman started to move an agent got in front of us barely having time to stop and pulled out his gun as his left hand rested front of hood and said don't you do it. If I was a half second late in braking I'd likely be dead right now.

Moral of story is if a LEO gets in front of your car commanding you to stop and your brakes are not as good and the LEO feels his life is in danger you're likely going to get shot.

Looks like she was trying to get away and the cop unloaded on her. Cop also shouldnt have approached the car from the front and yank her doors from side. Poor woman panicked and got murdered

This ICE agent will have a tough time proving that in a court of law. There wasn't enough distance between the vehicle and the agent for the vehicle to cause death or serious injuries. Plus her front wheel was pointing away from the agent. The vehicle kept moving down the road away from the agents even after the agent shot her in the head three times.

The key is that the lady was driving AWAY from the agent before she was shot; the threat is gone at that point, engagement should stop. They had her face, they had her license plate. I don't see why they need to force her out and arrest her at the spot. it's not even a violent exchange.

The problem is, I don't expect a criminal review on this shooting, because it's the Trump DOJ that would be doing the review, and Bondi would just say "nothing to see here," but I would think they have a pretty good case civilly suing the Federal Government.

NOTE! I am not condoning what happened today in Minneapolis. I will however say the left is already attempting to make this a "George Floyd" moment. The situation at the moment is very fluid and I'd advise everyone to not take a side until more is released.

Within the last two to three hours, it was reported on CNN that this particular officer was involved in another shooting incident a while back.

She has cleared that officer that fire the weapon when the officer fired. The issue here is criminally, you can argue "I don't know what she was going to do," although you can see her wheel is turning to the right, but these are hindsight.

The most serious question I have is, at this point of shooting, what kind of charge the officer can theoretically lay on the woman that warrants firing 3 shot into the car? I don't honestly see that they can charge her with anything other than resisting arrest. Which would most likely make this use of force illegal, you generally need to reach the level of "Attempted Murder" to fire your service weapon, you can't just shoot someone for resisting arrest.....

Criminally, that's a bit different

You need to be able to show proof that the shooter is reckless to convict him of anything. I don't remember when is the last time a FEDERAL Law Enforcement officer was ever charged with such a crime in the last 50 years. In fact, I don't think I can name one instant that a Federal Law Enforcement officer was accused of unjustifiably shooting before 2025 (There are 3 or 4 in 2025), Federal Agents were highly trained to a point I attended FLETC (A federal agent training complex), and I was told to wait because I am not qualified for any Federal Position even after decades in Law Enforcement and almost a decade in the military.

From a third person prespective, the woman should not even be arrested at that point, as far as I know from all the video and written account, she parked her red car in the middle of the street, blocking the ICE agent, which still have plenty of road for the agent to drive thru, I don't think they can even arrest her for obstruction and that would have been an illegal stop (Federal Agent don't write traffic ticket), which is mostly what she had been doing.

As for what the DOJ would do, well, god knows, this is going to be a civil case for sure, not sure if this has risen to a criminal level, would have my wife check it out after she got back from work. But I doubt this is sticking even if this case went ahead in a criminal court.
