But more importantly -- they are distracting American public from the recession that's going on. Lots of job cuts and hiring freezes due to Trump's policies which will drive the US into a depression.

Negotiation tactic. Orange man is not going to attack Iran no effing way. The Houthi situation is different in trying to get them to stop attacking commercial shipping but no to Iran getting hit. Now there likely be high tensions where it looks like a possible strike is going to happen but that is about it.


However..... I got another theory and it's not good. US could be preparing for a strike by Israel against Iran with Israel telling the US the date which is why all the firepower heading there. US is likely there to make sure Iran doesn't start taking out tankers or oil refineries/depots in Saudi Arabia as in, you hit Saudi Arabia and disrupt oil flow you're going to also deal with US airpower. I doubt US will intervene if Iran only strikes back at Israel the Orange man will likely use this as the peacemaker and get Iran and Israel to stop hostilities and come to the table.

For Iran strategy should be simple, if one just one usa bomb fall into Iran they should fire out all of their rocket arsenal on jews in occupied palestine on which behalf they would be attacked. some could be saved for hosts of usa army in region.
