Venezuela - US Conflict: News, Updates

Alright - let's make a list of any country without any strong Air Force protection

Russia (too many SU-30/35/57 junks and same old design)
Ukraine
Sudan
Somalia
Venezuela
Iran
Iraq
India
Cuba
what else?

As of Q3 2025:

US Dollar: 56%
Euro: 20%
Chinese RMB: 2%
Other currencies: 20%

The Western powers still have a strong hold. The US/EU pair isn't going away anytime soon.
But the trend is very obvious, it goes fast once it's set in motion.

Not to mention a monthlong buildup -
What happened was a complete dismantling of the Venezuelan regime and removing most if not all military threats leaving only total loyalists out there.

As with Saddam, if you no longer have support of the people in majority then all you are doing is waiting on a thin bubble.

The space force/intel combo had every AD site marked including AAA.
It was a cake walk for the 160th to then stroll in and since was post the massive shock and awe happening Maduros guards themselves ran.

Listened to Gen Caines briefing on the operation and the US ability to integrate effects across all domains is simply unparalleled. There’s no other country that can do what the US military just did.

The good old "you break it, you buy it" rule.
In a post about India using water resources to threaten Pakistan, I think China places too much emphasis on international law in diplomacy.

However, if other countries break international law and no one blames or sanctions them, it shows that the provisions of international law are ineffective. Others can take the same approach.

China has $60 billion in investments in Venezuela, while the United States has $1.2 trillion in investments in China. The United States does not have the courage to seize Chinese assets. If the U.S. did so, China would retaliate in kind. I don’t believe Trump would make such a decision.

I heard it coming out of his lying mouth. Stop the source searching
I didn't say it didn't happen I just said I don't trust anything coming out of CNN.

This is what Orange man said...

I don't see that as throwing her under the bus I see it as an opinion that he likely made from intel briefings. We shall soon see if he's right.

I think even in this case the Chinese have done their homework. They are world leaders in EV's and are leading in the replacement of combustion engines in their automobiles. The US keeps using old tactics and their military to tackle a China which plays a different game altogether.
Oil demand especially in Asia will continue to decline and China with it's proliferation of EVs and massive electricity production will see the most drastic decline, thereby rendering US hold on fossil fuel rather inconsequential.

There is no better alternative than the USD as the reserve forex for trade.
There is old good barter trade or currency swap and it is happening slowly, soon it will emerge proper alternative not out of the betterment of trade but because of self preserving reasons, constant financial and security knife on throats of various states does that kind of thing.

Watched the full video--not very long--but shows a window to Trump's brain. So this is basically 'sold' to the Americans as 'reimbursement' which the Venezuelian govt/nation owes America. I didn't see much talk in this video of the so-called 'drugs' the Venezuelians sending to America. LOL!!! Also, a 'second wave' of attack is possible, which will be much larger. Also, the VP of Venezuela might 'essentially' cooperate with the Americans in future plans. Also, America would build but basically 'the oil infrastructure'.
Got to love Trump for his honesty!

US is very good at bullying tiny weak nations.
The US-led forces liberated and preserved South Korea in the communist backyard. Let's not draw conclusions like that. The entire world is shocked at how Maduro was taken out swiftly, it wasn't expected. However, the US conducted several surgical operations in different countries to come up with this type of strategy. It is stunning.

Latin America along with Mexico spent the last 40 years spreading drugs into America and getting their people hooked on drugs. While the US opened their market and borders in good faith.

No better than the Afghans if not worse.

And have no real deterrence if the chickens come home to roost? :ROFLMAO:
Sorry bruh I sorta disagree with you here. Degenerates here in the US hooked on drugs created the drug market Mexico and Columbia were just being capitalist providing a service US degenerates wanted. Guess what... If murrrcans weren't into so much drug use there wouldn't be cartels or they wouldn't be as powerful as they have been.

Just like the WMDs in Iraq, drugs being sent from Venezuela to the US is just a hoax argument. This has everything to do with the vast oil resources of Venezuela. The Americans want to fully control it.
