Dude, again, he ONLY had Swedish Citizenship and Swedish Authority said his Passport WAS NEVER used (I remember there was a photo back then showing his passport), how he could "surrender" to the Chinese in China if his passport was not used??

I repeat, it was two Swedish diplomats who took him to Shanghai, and in Shanghai he surrendered to the Chinese authorities. If you think this is a lie you can get the Swedish government to refute the statement of the Chinese government.

If you think about it, Usa is slowly declining but it is destroying and overtaking any future threats, so if Usa has allies all over S America, EU, GCC, Quad, India etc then Usa will stay as a superpower since they control the world, and resources for the next 100s of years.

BTW, after this incident I believe people will not be naive enough to still live in fantasy land and think that US don't do regime change ops. Obama attacked 7 countries (Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, Libya, Yemen, Somalia and Pakistan) yet he was given the Noble Peace Prize.

Pakistan nominated Donald Trump for the Noble Peace Prize for helping to end the Pakistan-India war of 2025. What's wrong with that?

To the simplest term, Trump saw a way in, and he took it, and as usual, didn't think ahead.

This can go both ways, and it can make Venezuela to become a US allies but at the same time, if things are planned and executed well, it WILL become another Iraq and follow us every move. Removing the head of state does nothing to the regime. What Trump is banking on is people to step up and overthrow the regime for him. We aren't going to do jack shit in Venezuela after this; this is more or less just throw the dice and see where it fall.

The issue here is, there aren't many country in the world can pull this out, US is one of them, China is another, possibly Russia, so to this end, this enable them to use this same tactics and say "Oh, maybe we should try it as well"

Well, I don't have any love loss with Maduro, but I will say yesterday is the day where international diplomacy died.

What if Usa send special forces and overtakes oil fields, and protects them. What will Venezuelian army do, they could not even protect their own president from being kidnapped.

Our government thinks about what is going to give benefit to Pakistan and the proposal for Nobel Peace Prize was in line with the impact of Trump's involvement in peacemaking between us and the RSS goons across the border. It also helped internationalize the issue further regardless of how controversial it may have been (I would not have nominated him but the government of the day felt that they had an opening to further align with Trump administration and they took it).

The world operates on the basis of the law of the jungle so idealism has very limited space here. Whoever has the might, they do as they will. US/Russia/UK/France/Israel etc. etc....they are all the same and Pakistan saw an opening and took it with immediate dividends. There is no guarantee this will continue in the future, but one step at a time.
