Right. This year doesn't look like a year of peace. I wish it were. Trump is on a mission to get major domestic and international achievements under his belt and no stopping him on either fronts. Just saw a news, he has asked the US Defense budget to be raised to $1.5 trillion!

Trump is forgetting that his economy and debt is tied to people using the US currency as reserve currency. Now Trump being aggressive, everyone will use yuan, euro, yen, pound etc and US is going to suffer greatly economically if USD is no longer reserve currency

"Will use" vs "Should use" are different: Trump publicly, loudly declared he will not tolerate sidelining of USD as the Reserve Currency; I think he referred to the BRICS group when he said that.

He's overtaken all of the middleeast, only Iran is left, pressurised EU to contribute more towards Nato, Venezuela, Cuba, Colombia will be dealt with, Greenland he will most likely annex or get a good deal, with Russia he wants deal, China is already quiet and both nations are benefitting, he doesnt want war with Russia or China but if Usa control major resources and economic routes then these 2 nations will not be able to challege Usa dominance, Usa is close with ASEAN, Quad is ally. There is much wisdom in the 'advice' per VCheng when you look at PakAl's post: Pick a fight you can win. I don't want to into Pakistan's politics but certainly many fools would have led Pakistan to a disastrous path because the current 'American stooges' ruling Pakistan were not foolish enough to jump into the Gaza fray and other conflicts. Damn fools!

Venezuela’s interior minister, Diosdado Cabello, said late on Wednesday that 100 people died in the US attack that removed President Nicolás Maduro from power on Saturday, the first official casualty estimate from Caracas.

The government has not previously released an overall death toll, but the Venezuelan army posted a list of 23 names of its dead. Venezuelan officials said a large part of Maduro’s security contingent was killed “in cold blood,” and Cuba has reported that 32 of its military and intelligence personnel stationed in Venezuela were killed.

Cabello said Maduro’s wife, Cilia Flores, who was detained alongside him, suffered a head injury during the US raid, and Maduro sustained a leg injury.

Venezuela’s interim President, Delcy Rodríguez, praised by Cabello as “courageous” during his weekly state television show, declared a week of mourning for members of the military killed in the operation.

As proven every time there has been an impeachment of a sitting president: Impeachment does NOT equal removal from office.

Regarding his second "impeachment", it was bogus from the get-go. Bukkake theater for those who are into that.

The importance of the midterms this time around is not for impeachment, but for committee leaderships and overall voting over the next two years. Hugely important given the times.
