Venezuela - US Conflict: News, Updates

Do your own investigation...From an X account Mike Netter...

This account from a Venezuelan security guard loyal to Nicolás Maduro is absolutely chilling—and it explains a lot about why the tone across Latin America suddenly changed.
Security Guard: On the day of the operation, we didn't hear anything coming. We were on guard, but suddenly all our radar systems shut down without any explanation. The next thing we saw were drones, a lot of drones, flying over our positions. We didn't know how to react.
Interviewer: So what happened next? How was the main attack?
Security Guard: After those drones appeared, some helicopters arrived, but there were very few. I think barely eight helicopters. From those helicopters, soldiers came down, but a very small number. Maybe twenty men. But those men were technologically very advanced. They didn't look like anything we've fought against before.
Interviewer: And then the battle began?
Security Guard: Yes, but it was a massacre. We were hundreds, but we had no chance. They were shooting with such precision and speed... it seemed like each soldier was firing 300 rounds per minute. We couldn't do anything.
Interviewer: And your own weapons? Didn't they help?
Security Guard: No help at all. Because it wasn't just the weapons. At one point, they launched something—I don't know how to describe it... it was like a very intense sound wave. Suddenly I felt like my head was exploding from the inside. We all started bleeding from the nose. Some were vomiting blood. We fell to the ground, unable to move.
Interviewer: And your comrades? Did they manage to resist?
Security Guard: No, not at all. Those twenty men, without a single casualty, killed hundreds of us. We had no way to compete with their technology, with their weapons. I swear, I've never seen anything like it. We couldn't even stand up after that sonic weapon or whatever it was.
Interviewer: So do you think the rest of the region should think twice before confronting the Americans?
Security Guard: Without a doubt. I'm sending a warning to anyone who thinks they can fight the United States. They have no idea what they're capable of. After what I saw, I never want to be on the other side of that again. They're not to be messed with.
Interviewer: And now that Trump has said Mexico is on the list, do you think the situation will change in Latin America?
Security Guard: Definitely. Everyone is already talking about this. No one wants to go through what we went through. Now everyone thinks twice. What happened here is going to change a lot of things, not just in Venezuela but throughout the region.
Of course. The above post was retweeted by Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt, which piqued my interest.

The US reportedly used a powerful sonic weapon against Venezuelan soldiers while capturing Nicolas Maduro, which left them with nose bleeds and vomiting blood, an account shared by Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said.

On Saturday morning, Leavitt took to X to share an interview with an unnamed security guard who claimed to be working the night the US struck Venezuela and took Maduro on drug trafficking charges.

I have a feeling they can easily turn it up and kill if they choose to.

I think we Murrrcans that are into US defense and military tech is not surprised of this. In the back of our minds we know we got cht that is very advanced in the black programs but hearing/reading (if true) what the Venezuelan soldier saw and heard is still surprising and disturbing at the same time.

The Cubans got obliterated by Delta Force. The security guard may have exaggerated some things, but on the whole he’s accurate. Delta killed 40+ Cubans in that compound without losing a single soldier.

Delta likely used some advanced night vision capability with rapid AI targeting pod on their weapons.

This likely happened if Whitehouse is posting this.

Venezuela is just starting and will be frontline news for the next 20 years. Civilians are giving the authoritarian government whom they hate apparently a set amount of time to make their life better e.g. healthcare, wages, safety etc. When that doesn't happen because there isn't enough oil revenue for trillion dollar infrastructure overhall and hundreds of billions to invest in oil sector, u can bet a revolution will begin which will last a while. After that full civil war between factions like in Libya or Syria etc.

Meanwhile US gained:
- distrust from EU and its allies and they are planning defenses against US in greenland and de dollarising faster then ever. Also thanks to US driving them into arms of China.
- lack of respect of international law and pulling out of 50+ UN organisations is basically pulling the chair up for China/Russia to sit in and tucking them in for comfort as the head of those organisations. Also internationally the de dollarisation speeds up even more due to lack of trust for US.

China want to be head of the (new) UN? Go for it...!!!

Europe will always be Europe the same way, poodle to the US always even if it snatch Greenland from Denmark/EU. Europeans are too scared to go against Uncle Sam, they only dare on China and Russia to certain degree. They are just making loud noises now.

Masterfully done, US planned for a long time; treachery on the ground by Maduro's own people, precise execution , what was deemed impossible accomplished. Perhaps one of US's most successful operations so far.

Putin , Ji and other leaders not on US side will have sleepless nights.

They seem more serious this time. Not sure if they will fight usa but they will at least use us dollar a lot less and back USA less

Don't go overboard white house especially under trumpy lie allot and exaggerate allot. Who really knows what weapons were used or not, one unknown soldier doing an interview is pretty much heresay you need multiple testimonies saying the same thing and not hiding their identities for this sci-fi script to have some truth to it.

Don't be jelly bruh it happened the US has super-duper high tech sonic weapons. 😛

A 'law' without enforcement is no law. Simple as that.

The interesting thing to note is that all those now up in arms about international lawlessness are the same ones who were railing against the international order imposed by USA in the post-Cold War era, while taking advantage of the economic opportunities it created for billions around the world.

After decades of being habitual ingrates, now they have their wish of USA just looking out for itself instead of enforcing what is good for everybody.

"Congratulations, you've played yourself!" :D

Perhaps it's simple hypocrisy that is being alluded to.

The same adherence to "rules bases order" and "international law" that USA demanded off every nation state she ultimately imposed regime change in since WW2 (don't make me put a nasty hurtful long list up now!) is suddenly irrelevant, as per the same shills and touts who were deploying these factors as cassus belli hitherto.

There is a reason behind this though.

Hitherto, regime change required some degree of economic or political leverage to be deployed against the target state. It was simply not viable economically for USA to go toe to toe in a purely military sense with all its targets and to bear the economic or political consequences of protracted wars against resistant nations. Look at Vietnam, Afghanistan.

Now, American technology is so advanced that a decapitation strike is the preferred modus operandi because it is quick and collateral harm is minimised and costs are far less to impose regime change.

Very well played I have to say.

However, your own miserable attempt to still offload moral culpability onto the victim, regarding adherence to rule of law, is below your usually highly intelligent benchmark for discourse.
